Great location if you want to fish Dameron Marsh and the flats of Ingram Bay. Mary and Captain Billy are super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our camping trip. Great boat ramp!

We go out with Captain Billy every year on Fathers Day for cobia. We always have a great time and come home with fish to eat. Captain Billy does a great job making you feel comfortable and is really easy to talk to. He has some great stories to help keep you entertained while waiting for the sound of that line to crank. He has some really nice cabins you can rent also. Try and book the cabins when you book your charter because the book fast! I will always recommend Captain Billy and Ingram Bay Marina to friends and strangers. 5 Stars

Wow! My wife and I just came back from a long weekend at the Heron's Nest cabin located at Ingram Bay Marina. Captain Billy and Mary were incredibly helpful. My wife and I have had a multi day outing in a few years, so I decided to surprise her and did a search for pet friendly locations and came upon this awesome place. We will definitely be coming back. :-)

AMAZING! If I could use just one word to describe this hidden Gem it would be that. It all starts with the friendly smiles of the owners Captain Billy and Mary. Having spend over two weeks at the Sailors Nest, we truly had an opportunity get a feel for this operation. The home sets directly on the water and if you have a boat - it makes it even more magical. Crabbing from the dock was great! The home is beautiful and is truly a rare find - I still can't believe they share this facility for others to enjoy. I previously lived in the Northern Neck and wanted my wife to experience the magic it had to offer and after very careful consideration - this is the facility we choose. The protected Harbor is only a brief boat ride to some of the most productive fishing spots the Chesapeake Bay has to offer. As a fishing enthusiast, this marina and home rental make it easy - GAS, ICE, fishing equipment for sale, advice, quick access to fishing destinations. Almost forgot... Book a fishing charter with Captain Billy - There's a reason he was voted best charter in the area! My wife and I will be returning again and again! Thanks for everything Captain Billy and Mary!

We stopped here for water and fuel, what an adorable spot! Plenty of depth to get in and very friendly people! Planning to hit this again when sailing by! Great hurricane hole!

We have stayed twice at the tiny cabins at Ingram Bay Marina and cant wait to go back! The cabins are cozy and well equipped to call home for a few days. We had everything we needed to cook to include a grill with gas and ready to go. Captain Billy is very knowledgeable when it comes to the perfect spot to catch your dinner. Mary and the rest of the staff are welcoming and very accommodating. We enjoyed meeting the neighbors at one of the first Friday events at the gazebo. The deep water dock is perfect to launch your boat and there is gas and fishing tackle and bait right on site. We will definitely be back this fall!

What a great place!!! Captain Billy was most helpful and accommodating. The marina is an independent marina operated by Billy and his wife Mary. Charm which is so lost with the big corporate marinas, was not lost here. Even the bathhouse was adorably appointed and very clean. They have cabins for rent and the grounds are beautiful. They accommodated our 50 boat no problem with easy in and easy out. Amazing hospitality. Highly recommend!!!

As a large group, we spent the weekend at the Marina camping. Had a great time offshore with Captain Billy and onshore at the Marina. Marina facilities included: shower/bathroom house, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, gazebo and, fire pit. Kids also swam and used their kayaks and canoes around the Marina. Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing time and captain billy was the sweetest with my 8 month old. I couldn’t ask for a better day and a better team to charter with. We have gone out with captain billy for years now. The bathrooms are so clean and so welcoming for the ladies, I didn’t check out the men’s but I recommend the drive out to kilmarnock to charter with him.

The owners, Captian Billy and Mary, are absolutely wonderful people who truly care about their customers/guests. The property and all facilities are always neatly kept. There is a large boat house, small boat house and open slips. The bath house is clean and well stocked. There is a washer on dryer for guests to use on an honorary system. They also offer some beautiful vacation rentals. Two cabins/tiny houses and a large single family home.

Lovely place in the world. Considerate folks and hot showers. Who knew hot showers with good spray would be so desirable yet so rare? They have them.

Great day of rock fishing. Captain Billy and mate put us on top of large rock fish( no pebble fish) and everyone caught their limit. We left at 7AM and returned to the dock with a cooler of beautiful fish. They cleaned the fish, so we could all go home with fresh fish ready to grill. I am not sure you could find a better day of fishing. The boat was set up great for our group. Convenient location just off of the Bay. Well marked and easily navigated channel. The fuel dock was easy to access and staffed by an attendant who when not in the store comes when you phone them. Non ethanol gas prices were very inexpensive @ $2.70 I recall. The dock attendant was very nice and personable.

Today we had an amazing trip out with Captain Billy and his first mate! There was a big group of us including a small child and he was nothing but amazing to us! Highly recommend going out on his charter if you get the chance. Thanks again for an amazing day!

Billy and Mary are 5 star individuals. During our week long sailing trip we visited many places but without a doubt this was the place to be. Ingram bay was very well maintained. The facilities are kept extreamly clean. They have a private beach and cottages for rent. Not to mention an amazing rental home for a very fair price on the property. If you want to know what northern neck living is all about...you need to come to Ingram bay marina. It is situated in a protected area so your boat will be safe. The backdrop is quaint and beautiful. It has a gazebo next to the water which was perfect for reading, relaxing, and eating lunch. Once again come to Ingram bay!

Love fishing with Billy’, he is a fun captain actually seems like he enjoys what he does. And most of all we always catch fish. I don’t fish with anybody else.

This marina is the best!! It’s family owned and operated and they’re all super helpful and some of the most friendly people you’ll ever deal with in the marine services. The marina is in a beautiful location with all the standard amenities. They have a loaner car if you need to provision. They also have a decent stock of use parts of you need something in a pinch. I can’t recommend Ingram bay marina enough.

Ps on a clear night you can see the Milky Way in the night sky from your slip.

Marina with cabin rentals, vacation house rental, Capt Billy's Charters on site. Clean restrooms, marine gas, tackle shop and right on the Chesapeake Bay with a layed back atmosphere.

We've taken multiple charter fishing trips with Captain Billy Pipkin, the owner of Ingram Bay Marina, and always come back with lots of memories and a cooler full of big rockfish! Our kids had a fantastic time - Captain Billy made it easy for them. He's got a great personality and got us right to the fish! When we go on our own boat for fishing or just for fun, we always fuel up at Ingram Bay Marina too - it's the closest marina to the big bay, with ethanol-free fuel and a bait shop so you can pick up what you forgot to pack. You can't go wrong! He has storage and a launch and overnight cabins on site. It's a total operation run by friendly and knowledgeable folks.

The dock master has been super helpful with getting us tied and fueled. The marina is small, but neat. After being banged up for the whole day at the Chesapeake, a quite harbor was really nice.
