While browsing Main St, my son wanted to walk around and see this place. While we were still just browsing, seemed to have quite a selection of many things including cheeses and chocolates. Prices seemed to be fairly decent...might be worth checking out for those interested.

My favorite place in Pleasanton, as well as my favorite wine store and Wine bar in the Bay Area. I have been coming here for over 20 years since the day they first opened, and I always feel welcomed, like it is my own version of Cheers! they have an amazing wine selection and we love attending their educational wine events to learn more about different wine regions and varietals.

The best wine store and tasting bar in the East Bay Area. Tremendous selection of the best wines from local vineyards and all over the world. Carefully curated and supported by knowledgeable staff. I always make time for a visit while in the area; you should too!

Excellent wine shop with an eclectic selection, friendly staff, and plenty of interesting finds even for people who are “into wine”. The wine clubs are a hell of a deal—we get two international bottles for <$50 per month. Their special event tastings are fantastic. A gem.

Local and global wines that are well thought. Nice food and drink selections and go upstairs to taste, sample wine flights or get a craft beer. Very attentive service and nice snack options.

Arguably the best Wine store on the Bay Area. I might be a bit biased as I have been coming here since the day they opened, but I love the people who run it and who work the, they have an amazing selection of wine and a cute little wine bar upstairs where they can stop in for a flight or attend an event and learn about different wine regions or producers. What can I say… this place is my “Cheers”. Jim Denham and his staff are all wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Never been here, but looked at their online store and called the shop to purchase a bottle last minute for a friend to pick up. This was a special pick up since my friend was bridal dress shopping at the bridal boutique on the same block. Dawn from this shop was courteous and took her time to help me over the phone. My friend picked up her gift and was very pleased. Thank you!! Will definitely stop by when I am in the area.

The Wine Steward is a great shop in downtown Pleasanton. It has been run by locals for decades, and they are very knowledgeable, helpful, and super friendly. They have the daunting task of trying to compete with higher volume sellers like grocery stores and specialty stores like BevMo, etc. But, they find a variety of ways to add value and earn your business, including facilitating a bunch of different wine clubs. They have personal reviews of wines that are very helpful, and their prices are competitive. In addition they have a wide enough variety of bottles to choose from across a myriad of varietals to make the most discerning wine enthusiast happy. Stop by and give them a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

What a lovely place! And all the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of craft beer, cider and wines - I can't wait to come back and get a tasting in!

The Wine Steward is our favorite wine purveyor. We just attended one of their wine education and tasting events. Very educational, very entertaining, and some very good wines. For those folks who think that the wine world is all about Cabernet and Chardonnay, you will be blown away by the wine discoveries that Jim and his team will bring to your senses.

Love this place!!! I will never go any where else to buy wine! The main guy who works there really knows his stuff and everyone is so kind. Great prices and great quality! 😊

The upstairs wine bar is a great find! Awesome cheese and charcuterie plate. Buy a bottle over $25 downstairs and free corkage! Wine btg is reasonably priced as well. Great selection.

Great wines. Jim knows his wine. There are great up and coming wines worthy of your palate. He has helped me find some wonderful jewels.

The Wine Steward is a quaint venue. I often go there solo and never feel out of place. Great wine selection, perfect appetizer's and an immense knowledge of wine and their regions.

WS is my go to spot for gift baskets for my clients. The staff is always very helpful, especially with my last minute drop in requests.

This is, hands down, the best wine experience in the Pleasanton area. Always friendly, a great value with beer and wine aplenty.
