What an amazing bookstore, so dense with an amazing selection of books including rare first editions of old forgotten tomes to brand new literature and just about everything in between!

Best bookstore with the most massive and amazing selection of used books. I can spend all day looking through the used cookbooks section, and finding interesting and rare books that are out of print. There is a heavy Bay Area focus on the cookbooks I feel which I love. The turnover of books also seems to be high - there’s always something new when I go. And the prices are usually very fair, although sometimes a bit inconsistent.

Best book store in the Bay Area, nothing in San Francisco that I’ve seen even comes close. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the selection was superb and immense. I only had time to see 2/4 of the floors, will certainly be back soon.

I could spend all day here. Each floor is organized by subject & there is definitely something for everyone!

It's so hard not to get lost in the floors exploring all of the amazing books! You could almost make a day of just this place! I found some great additions to my Alice In Wonderland collection, and the gentleman in the rare books department was so super friendly and helpful!!!

Love this place! Every time I go to Telegraph I stop here. Its a must-go if you're in the area and love books!
I feel like I dont even need to leave this review, because hell, its MOE'S. But I will anyways just as a bit of help.
Fantastic book selection that includes almost every genre. 4 floors, great art prints available at the bottom floor, at the top floor there is even an antique book section full of extremeley old books that may or may not be available to buy. Regardless, gorgeous to look at.
Clean bathroom available on the 3d floor, and some great items available at the front counter.
Also this is a bit irrelevant, but as a queer, alternative person I feel very safe and comfortable there.
HIGHLY recommend Moe's.

My favorite bookstore in Berkeley and there are several to choose from. Big, but manageable selection and decent prices, especially on less popular books. Helpful staff.

Excellent selection of general and academic books, sometimes hard-to-find treasures probably sold by faculty or grad students. Allow time to sift through books sorted only by general subject or language.

4 floors of new and used books on numerous topics. It's fun to get lost here. And the staff are very helpful. A staff member helped me find a book. Hee took me to several floors where it could possibly be and then eventually go and it. All with a smile, kindness and good stories.
Highly recommended.

Has 4 floors so that's amazing. People upfront were friendly and kind. If you have food, you have to leave it in the front. We were there for about an hour and no one touched our food. I'm a sock girl and they also had these adorable socks. My kids enjoyed the kids section, located down stairs. They have used and new books so there's choices. ☺

LOVE seeing bookstore still exits! 4 floors of books! This is my kind of place. Thank you! People need to support our local bookstores before they are all gone! I LOVE used books section so much. Children and I always got some great books home with a great prices too.

Moe's Books, what can be better than this book store around Berkeley. A well managed book store with all the variety of books, good staffs, quite and nice environment. Staff are preety much aware and sure of the books!! All these aspects makes moe's books a best source of inspiration for readers.

Wide variety of novels and good prices. I could get definitely see myself spending an hour or so here!

It took a while to find a place to park, but the wait was worth it. What a huge selection of both new and used books. They say people do not go to book stores anymore but this place was jammed with people and there was a line to check out. They are doing something right here. Just plan for it to take 15-20 minutes to find place to park.

This is an amazing bookstore! Has so much variety and completely organized and easy to navigate! Spent a good hour but could easily spend more time here!

Beautiful bookstore in Berkeley. Has a lot of books and some interesting posters. The place has 4 floors of books and a rare book room which I have not been into. It's a blast wandering around in here. One thing to note is that there isnt a lot of room to sit and read a book, so be careful about that.
