Valor Compounding Pharmacy

Update: I initially gave this Pharmacy a two star review. Since my recent refill, I was very impressed how quickly and efficiently they filled my prescription and sent it to me. Thank you for doing a great job.

I had ordered a prescription with this pharmacy. During the payment process, it suggested it would be mailed two days air. Be very careful dealing with this pharmacy, I would urge you to consider other choices with higher ratings.

We’re so impressed by their great customer service. I spoke with 3 staff members as my daughter’s prescription just got transferred here and I had many questions. Everyone of these staff are very patient, professional and kind.
Sherine went out of her way to make sure my daughter will use the most freshly made solution and also called me to advise on keeping it cool during the long travel. This company seems to really care about the wellbeing of their customers and the quality of their products. Our optometrist office also told me that they like Valor’s service better than previous pharmacies.

The best way to get a hold of them is through email.
But, whenever I have talked to them, they have bent over backward to be helpful and are very conscientious.
I appreciate that a lot, because my hormones mean a lot to me and make a huge difference in my life. 😊🌟

The only place in the east bay we have been able to consistently find the medication our dog was prescribed by the vet. Staff is friendly and professional, service is quick.
May never go back to a "regular" pharmacy again.

They have been kind with me and got my meds to me quicker than I expected. I will be using them as my primary compounding pharmacy.

Have only spoke on phone so can only say the woman I talked with was very nice and answered my questions. Waiting on prescription and will update as to shipping time and quality etc. But for now they seemed nice and professional.

Update : received first prescription and was somewhat upset due to minimum cost and barely getting much medication, but im pretty sure they sent mine overnight and they did not mention it. So maybe they did this just to be nice after paying the minimum cost. Was appreciated big time and they did this without any complaints or asking by me. Just placed next refill this past Friday and received email saying will be updated on when is shipped (monday today). Will update as to consistency and relative results with medication relative to other compounding pharmacies used, and regular shipping times once received. But so far seem to be a very professional and helpful business.

I had a good experience, but wish they would have warned me of the 30 day shelf life when I put in the order, not when they called to tell me it was ready because I was traveling and couldn't pick it up right away. Had I known that I would have delayed the order.

Edit: I can’t leave this review at 5 stars. I consistently have the hardest time refilling my script. Today I’m out of my meds entirely after my Dr put in the script a WEEK ago. No one followed up with me then, nor after I left several messages and emails. It’s ridiculous and it happens way too often to warrant a 5-star review. I stand by my words below but until they figure this mess out I’m docking 2 stars.

Had a very positive experience today with Dane and a woman who’s name I didn’t get — but they were BOTH amazing, extremely kind, and they helped me out with a complicated situation. This all happened right before closing and still they took all the time needed to make sure I was taken care of. Truly above and beyond. Thank you!!!

I started ordering from Valor since my pharmacy in Hawaii is having supply issues. I pay almost three times more using Valor. I put up with the prices because my daughter's health is very important to me.

My biggest complaint right now is that I put in a refill (not a new order/rx) on 11/20 paid and was emailed that it was received. And nothing. No medication. Now my daughter doesn't have her medication and it would take at least two days more to get here if they fix the problem tomorrow.

I don't know what is going on but I think I need to look for alternatives to compound medications for my daughter. I really don’t want to switch. I have to have this sorted out and not happen again.
