Good ingredients and careful control of spices and flavors makes the dishes taste fresher and more subtle than at other Indian buffets. In comparison, many other buffets in the area have reheated and overseasoned dishes that taste too salty and oily, leaving you feeling tired afterwards. Dessert, gajar hawal (carrots), was also excellent. To get a seat, I had to waive down a waiter rather than be asked. Once I was seated solo at the bar, however, service was fine. As lunchtime was packed and their space small, it was quite noisy inside. Located in the Pleasanton Town Center, parking is a bit of a hassle. For my second visit, they had Sooji Halwa, an amazing desert made from Semolina. Even the ubiquitous Tikka Masala had much more complexity of flavor compared to what's found at typical buffets. The buffet definitely emphasizes quality. Fair $11.99 ($13.10) price (buffet lunch every day) with a parking lot out back.

Our go to spot in Pleasanton for Indian food. Never disappointed. Love the Pesto Naan!! Dishes may have similar names but are not prepared the same way that you find in most North Indian restaurants. Reserve a spot on the weekends otherwise hard to squeeze in more adhoc.

I usually get Samosas, vegetable Biryani, Frontier Dahl, butter chicken and palak paneer...lots of take out too.

Yum yum yummy food. We went there for a special occasion and the restaurant did not disappoint. The staff is extremely sweet and service is what you would expect at a good Indian restaurant. Food had perfect North Indian taste. Just what we wanted. Will definitely be going back again.

Had been planning to visit this place for quite sometime, and finally did it!
Had heard about this place a lot and loved the food. Nice menu, fast service, great taste. So yes, value for money!!
We sat outside, curbside tents, which was great to soak in the beauty of main street. The folks here are nice and courteous. Food, as I've mentioned, was delicious. Definitely one of the best places for Indian food. Being vegetarian, they had a nice spread to choose from. Will go again!

Was good to see outdoor dining open. The tent kind of installations for diners, seemed good. They all wore masks and cleaned surfaces regularly. Coming to the food - our group loved everything! Between us we had ordered a range of items and everything was tasty, non-greasy, and good portions and also fast service. Was my first time, though some others in the group were regulars. I will recommend this place. Do try it out.

We are thankful to have such an amazing Indian restaurant that serves mouthwatering tandori chicken and many other delightful dishes in Pleasanton. The manager, CJ is great and always makes us feel special
when we celebrate our special family events at the restaurant. This is definitely our go-to restaurant!

About 15 of us had dinner their last Saturday. We did Family style so that everyone had the opportunity to try a variety of traditional dishes. The food was outstanding with very attentive staff

Went for lunch. This place seems to be very busy. Quality of meat is so good! Better than any Indian restaurant we’be ever been to. Prices are fare for the quality you’ll get. Highly recommend.

Food and service were excellent! I would highly recommend the Tandoori Mixed Grill, some of the best chicken we've ever had. Also, we didn't even tell the server it was our father's birthday but the server noticed by our conversation and a card on the table so he brought a birthday dish out. Very kind and thoughtful! Definitely will be back.

We were here to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a quite afternoon, there were a few other groups enjoying their meal at the outdoor seating area.
We ordered the Kalami fish, which I give a 5 rating. It was perfectly cooked, super delicious and piping hot. The vegetable dum biryani came in a pot with the dum on it, which the wait staff removed and they informed us that we can infact eat the top like a chapati with the other gravy dishes we had ordered. That was new to me:). The dum biryani was delicious.
We had the crunchy okra which was a 4.5 for me.
We topped our meal with a Masala chai which was just the right refreshment after a scrumptious meal.

An excellent experience - had goat curry with garlic naan. Food was excellent, service was great, wonderful time.

Outstanding Indian food. The palak paneer is the best I’ve had. Their garlic and pesto naan’s are yummy. We love the chicken grill, especially the Kastoori malai. Butter chicken also delicious! Truly the best Ondian food ever!

Five spice calamari is a wonderful Indian twist on fried calamari and the mixed tandoor was delicious. Highly recommend the place!

The best North Indian food ever in the Tri Valley. High quality ingredients..sans the extra heavy cream and fat! Love eating lunch here.. My favorites are vegetable Biryani, Paneer Jalfrezi and many more.. Always hospitable and courteous!
