The staff here has always been extremely friendly. I'm here once or twice a week, and they are very helpful with whatever is needed. I've seen a couple instances where people come in mad or frustrated about some paperwork or process, and the staff does a great job of helping them get the information they need (passport renewals, etc). The staff here executes on their job, and will often go above and beyond what's needed. Sometimes there's a bit of a line, but they always move through it quickly and precisely. Glad to be here.

I see so many negative reviews @ this location. I have never had any problems here. Was here today. In & out in less than 5 minutes. That was a first. The ladies here has always been friendly, polite & courteous with me.

Sandy is a SUPERSTAR at the US Postal office in the passport section. She was so wonderful to work, very professional, kind, and caring. She went through our daughter’s first time minor application photo very thoroughly and made sure the photo met the requirements. Sandy then helped take another photo because the one we had wasn’t great. She is the best photographer and got our baby girl to smile. Thank you Sandy for making our daughter’s first passport application so effortlessly smooth and easy. We will definitely come back just for Sandy!

I made an appointment for my passport. I don't know why the rating is so low. But the lady is friendly to me and notice I left some thing blank on the application
because I didn't understand the questions and she explained more that made me understand the questions.. I didn't get my passport yet, but the transaction went smoothly.

Passport Office lady Cassandra C. is very friendly, helpful, positive attitude even when extremely busy. She gives Excellent assistance. I have seen her 4 times in last 2 years with my various family needs and feel lucky we have such a helpful polite, person at our local branch office.

Applied for passport,was seen by 3 different people,all were friendly, helpful and professional. It may take You longer if there is a long line or You don't have the right application form or Your required documents. They tell You 6-8 weeks to get a passport but i received it in 30 days. I got an email from Homeland Security saying that it depends on how busy they are and how many applications there are. I would recommend that You make copies of all your documents before You turn in application as the PO charges $1.00 to make copies. Get Your passport photos in advance @ Walgreens or UPS or AAA because the day i was there their camera was not working.

I was surprised to see so many negative. Really puzzling because at this location I've had no issues at all.

Lavette and Jean were freaken awesome!!!! Super friendly and extremely helpful. They got me the forms I needed and helped me out with making sure I got my passport in a timely matter. There was almost no line. Never had a better experience at a post office than this one. Thanks ladies!

Customer service have gotten better over the years. Hours have changed a few times. Parking has minimize due to Area changes. Services are available and boxes for sale. A valued use for 20 years with the services of the Richmond Post Offices.

I love this post office. I go here at least 2 to 3 times a week, and the people are always friendly.

Started Friday morning at the Martinez post office for a passport the line was literally out the door so I decided to go to the Rodeo post office thinking it would be less people but while waiting in line the man behind the counter said that the only woman doing passports went home early..really needing to get this done I went to Pinole where after waiting in line for 20 min the woman behind the counter said she was only taking appointments and could not help me,I decided to give Richmond a go,let me say the woman doing passports here is amazing!!best experience out of all the post offices I Visited today she was so personable and so funny Very thorough and professional I will definitely recommend her to anyone getting a passport she was amazing!!

Post office was clean and the clerk was very professional and kind. She answered all of my questions and was very helpful.

A lot of negative reviews for this place had me skeptical but I was in and out for my passport in 10 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Don't read the gentrifier reviews. It's fine. It's a defunded government office, what do you want? A backrub?

I had heard horror stories about this place but the young lady behind the counter was quite cheerful and helpful and I am more than satisfied!

My package that I mailed from St Paul Mn to Hawaii has been sitting at your postal since January 8, 2021. Why is it not being delivered ????
