Prime Poke

Five stars to this restaurant for absolute certain. To begin with, the location is fantastic and there's plenty of parking behind the restaurant on the street. It's right downtown and is a perfect spot to grab a quicker bite than a traditional sit down restaurant. The poke is very fresh, they have good topping options, and the staff are very friendly. There aren't many experiences better than enjoying some fresh, cold sushi on a warm day in the outdoor seating.

Prime Poke provides a sipping hole and a straw hole on the cup cap, along with a generous among of the drink being 40% filled with boba pearls; this is all topped off with the right amount of brown sugar for optimal taste. Also, the staff is very welcoming :)

Well placed restaurant with some delicious fish served with tasty and fresh vegetables. Recommended the zucchini noodles with the seasoned tuna. No need for fancy dressings, the bowl will taste good with some soy sauce and little else. Perfect for a quick lunch!

Love this place! I've become a regular, the quality of the fish keeps me coming back again and again.

This is the only poke place I go to in Pleasanton. I have tried others, and each time I've wished that I had just gone to this place. Prime Poke has a good option of fish to choose from, and the sauces are really good. I always order the two protein, because the three is too much for me, and I have always gotten the tuna for the free scoop, the marinated salmon, and the marinated tuna (I dont remember the exact name). For the last meat you order, they let you choose mix ins, I get the cucumber, cilantro, and serrano. Then for sauces my favorite for the mix ins in spicy poke and teriyaki. For the sauces on top, I would recommend sriracha and the spicy mayo, if you like spice, or just the spicy mayo if you want it to be mild. However, even with all that spicy stuff on top, it is not an overpowering amount of spice. I tried for the first a topping, I forget the name but I'll include a picture, and it was a good amount of crisp but the pieces were just a little too large for my taste. If you're in Pleasanton, and feel like poke, I would definitely try this place out!

Might not be the traditionalists cup of tea but a good selection of poke. Fresh tasty and large portions at a resonance price. Staff is friendly and location is clean and bright. So many options executed in an efficient way. Love it have been back many times since I discovered this place. And I never have been a big poke person. Try it you won’t regret the experience.

Fast service. I like the fact that they have veggie bases as well (I went with half brown rice and half greens)

Fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the numerous options, and delighted to find octopus on the menu. The portions were large and my bowl was delish! Dining area was clean and modern. Will be back for sure!

Everything tastes fresh and is very flavorful! I honestly like this place better than the poke I’ve had in Hawaii. It’s also helpful that they label their gluten free sauces.

Very good poke place with a great variety of toppings. I especially liked the scoop of spicy tuna on the house. The outside patio is small but nice place to eat on a sunny day.

Huge potions for the price, great flavours, plus a free protein with any order. Really recommend their milk tea as well.

My first choice for poke in the TriValley area. The ahi here is always fresh and I love the toppings/sauces they offer as well.
