I think we will become regulars here. We've been twice and were delighted both times. The atmosphere and level of professionalism in the service makes it feel like it's going to be a really expensive meal, but it's very reasonable for a Bay Area restaurant. The prime rib and the bread pudding were amazing, and I enjoyed my ahi tuna very much. The menu is very standard but they have lots of seasonal specials. Generous portions too!

I invited my distinguished guests from my parent company. The big boss loves steak, and I was really happy to see he enjoyed the stake of Hap's pretty much.
This is my favorite restaurant and the one of the best in Pleasanton. It worth to pay $100/person at least. The Hap's provides gorgeous and richest dinner in our lives. The service is good, too. And yet, it was a little bit noisy due to their BUSINESS.
I like the manner of making reservation via e-mail because we could exchange our preference such as table location.

Smoked salmon starter was one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. Great service

Artichokes are fun, but not a ton of food. 10oz filet was good but a little boring.

They are so professional, attentive and very personable.

I love the Rib eye smoke or not. I have yet find a place that exceeds their quality, portions and presentation.

Steak was perfect and all the sides and apps were fantastic. The wine selection was wonderful and our server was lovely and helpful. We were a large group of around 30 and she was patient and everything was prompt!

Sat in the bar for our cocktails and Prime Rib French Dip sandwiches and fries. Sandwiches are so big we each took home half of our sandwiches. They were just perfect. Fries were excellent, perfectly seasoned.

The appetizers and food were excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly.

The restaurant is pricy, but the food and service were excellent. Great place of your a wine drinker, too. Unfortunately, I am a beer drinker, so my options were limited. If I ever go back, I want to try the prime rib. I'm often afraid to order it since it is often fatty, but it looked great.

This place is fantastic! Steaks are some of the best you will ever have. Appetizers, side dishes, main dishes and desserts are all phenomenal. You can't go wrong. Service is top notch to match the food and atmosphere. It is pricey but very worth it. Great for a night out with someone special or large parties.

Monica is the best! She’s worked there about 6-7 months and is well poised, friendly, and actually remembered us from the first time we visited back in October! She was attentive and who ever hired her made the right decision!

I had the Lamb Chops with the bordelaise sauce, my hubby had the 22oz Rib Eye. Both were excellent. The Macaroni and cheese was really tasty. I could taste a smokiness coming thru, possibly a sharp white cheddar which was super yummy. The Mashed Potatoes were fluffy and the asparagus was nicely cooked. I also recommend the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. It was toasty on the outside and moist on the inside topped with the caramelized bananas and a caramel drizzle. There was a full bar but we ordered Titos Soda which is pretty straight forward. Our server was friendly and informative. Very nice. We will be returning.

Had dinner with my mama. Tina was our server and she was an absolute delight. So kind and attentive to us the whole time. The food was fantastic. We both had steak and lobster and both were perfect. Highly suggest the wedge salad as well! Again, TINA is the BEST! Thanks Haps for a great evening.

My favorite steakhouse on the planet! I had the filet with bearnaise twice-baked potatoes and roasted Brussels I'm still dreaming about it 💖 I should also note I drive 2 hours from El Dorado Hills to celebrate my birthday at Haps!!! Always worth the drive ✨✨✨

Outstanding service, I seriously felt like I was in a Downton Abbey movie. The servers were so attentive, if I even had a thought that I needed something our server, Paul, was right there. Very good menu, would like to see more options for the side dish that comes with the steaks or the ability to substitute.
