Apple 4th Street

I had the best service this morning at the Apple Store on 4th Street. It was not a typical visit, as the shop was robbed while I was there!! As the “bad guys” ran through grabbing all the phones and devices in the front mid-section of the store, all the employees stayed calm and guided the rest of us safely to the back of the store. My sales associate, Josh, was so sweet and caring. I felt I was in good hands.

From the first employee who took my information before I even set foot in the store (I missed her name, but she was terrific!) to my first, kind and helpful tech support at the Genius Bar, Marquez, to my awesome super hero salesperson, Josh, to Steven and Matthew, who took care of transferring my data and giving me confidence with my purchases before sending me on my way… I give the store an A+++ (retired school teacher still giving grades!)

I gave me the five store guys they gave me a good service. I was there really early for my appointment it’s about 110 so I got there about 1220 so they’re kind of busy but when I got help they help me that’s why I gave them a five star and they’re gonna repair my watch if they can when I heard from the Apple person. If not, they’re gonna give me a new Apple Watch seven.

Recommended charger allowing me to charge my phone adequately again in stead of replacing it. Employees were nice and helpful. Best to schedule Apple appointments in evening!!

I'm not a fan of retail stores in general, especially Apple stores, but I can't fault much with this one.

I've never had to wait to talk to someone and never had to wait more than 1-2 minutes for a product pickup.

Staff is plentiful and helpful.

Lovely Spanish speaker employee, explains everything very well. So satisfied with his sales information and he guide us to get savings

Very intelligent staff and helpful when they told you we will call you when your order ready so they always call them and they have so many variety available always really appreciated their work
In 2014 I bought iPad from here really good service and that product still so perfect
2018 I bought phone here wahooo like always they help customers so nicely
2021 I just visited there but there customer service and the way of convince I bought phone again and still really good products

This is my favorite nearby Apple Stores. 4th street is super nice (especially around December when they have fairy lights up on the trees). The viewing selection of Apple products is way more than other nearby stores and the customer service is great. Pretty easy to find parking too.

I took my MacBook into this store for a minor fix. I cannot tell you how amazing Charmayne was! She resolved my issue on the spot and asked how my day was going in a far more meaningful and genuine way than most people do when they pose the same question. I am beyond happy with my experience at Apple 4th Street!

Steven was incredibly helpful. I had a few questions for how to set up a system for my RV and he gave me some directions on where to start researching.

He also helped set me up with my screen protector and installation. I’d happily come back to work with him again!

Made no appointment but they took care of me in 30 minutes. We had an issue of surching sign hungs up all the time on my wife's iphone. Diagnosed right away and it was hardware problem😰they are super well trained techs who impresses me really like genius people❗

Although the salespersons weren't actively helpful, they still were professional and useful when I approached them. There was a long line for the genius bar, even if you had an appointment, but their service was phenomenal. I think the initial barriers were a bit off-putting, but after that, my experience at the store had been positive overall.

Great service, they helped me right away and after 3 days my Apple Watch and AirPods were replaced and fixed.

I've been here many times, and always actually look forward to it. Even though they're always busy, the staff is always very friendly. Not only are they friendly, every staff person I've met here comes across as if they're happy and comfortable where they work. They're also extremely competent, knowledgeable and smart. If the particular person I'm speaking with doesn't know the answer to my question, they're quick to find someone who does. I've been very impressed with my experience here.

I was received here well answered all my questions. The guy who I talked to even made my phone appointment while I was there. Unfortunately the phone call has gone like the many calls I have with them they wanted my old phone number which I forget long time ago. Because of that I can't use the many apps I bought or my music to enjoy. They have to have a third way varfiying people's accounts. This getting rediculess.

4.5? Compared to other retail Apple is always 5 stars.

Berkeley is a 5 for service and product, etc.

But as Apple stores go, Berkeley is a plain ol' box. For the full Apple retail experience go to SF or Boston or New York.

Still I'm grateful that to have an Apple store in my town.

Great customer service! Although when it's busy, it could take a while to get a chance to talk to an employee. I just love visiting this place to check out the latest Apple technology. I would recommend checking with an employee first once you get there to make sure you don't just wait around for no reason. Also, check the stock on the products on Apple store so you know they have what you want in store.

Jeff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful in resolving our issues to the best of his abilities. He didn't hesitate to spend a little more time with us to quickly take a look at another device that we brought which we didn't have an appointment for. He is certainly a huge asset for the Apple team.

Got to the Berkeley Apple store around 3:30 pm today and while they were still a bit busy, we were greeted immediately and lucky enough to get Mark helping us right away. He answered all of our questions and helped us choose the right iPhone for my husband. He resolved all of our problems with an old iPhone and got our newly purchased one working quickly. Then we were helped immediately with set up and didn't have to spend more than about 45 minutes there for everything. This is the best service we have ever received from Apple and will go to this store in the future (even though it's a little longer drive) instead of to the Bay Street Emeryville store where the experience is anticipated with dread based on past experience there.

This is a great Apple Store. It is well staffed and a well organized space in a smallish location for an Apple Store. The staff really is what shines, as they always have a high number of employees to customers and anyone can help you check-out right at the spot you are standing. Plus, as a power-user, I find the staff extremely well informed (not always the case). And, you can get the Store App and self check-out when the store busy. And if there is a knock on this store it is how swamped it can get on busy days -- plus the parking isn't the easiest. Overall, a top-end Apple Store.
