This was the first pizza parlor I had ever been to, over 50 years ago. I still remember how amazing the flavors were! We have gone a couple times lately when family is in town. They have tons of outdoor seating on a covered patio. Indoors is really a really fun family atmosphere, but usually packed. Pizzas are SUPER delicious and service is great too. Highly recommended!

This is one of my favorite new spots. Very nice people. GREAT SOUP! One of the best pizzas I've had on the west coast. Looking forward to trying more of their food. Must stop when in Pleasanton! It's worth going our of your way.

First of all, the service here is always amazing. We had a server today, don't catch her name but she was super nice and made dining in even better. Best pizza I've ever had! Other pizza places I've been to never fill me up but with just 2 slices here I'm satisfied! You never have to worry about not getting enough cheese on your pizza and the taste is super good! They also have delicious ranch! I'll be going here for pizza often! Tried their boneless wings too and were also great!

I grew up in Pleasanton and absolutely love gay 90s pizza.
Sadly I returned to the Bay Area for the first time in a few years for my mother‘s funeral. After which we had everyone get together at gay 90s for pizza because my mom loved it there. The staff was very friendly, warm and accommodating. It was exactly what we needed it to be. I’m very happy with the service and I’m very grateful that they provided a space.

As a sidenote, I went to high school with Connor and I am really happy to see that he is still running such a great restaurant.

Keep up the good work guys. Hope to have some of that delicious pizza again in the future.

Short stop for the late lunch. My son had Maui special pizza. Fast and friendly service. The place gives you a unique feeling of immersion in history, takes you 50-100 years back.
Bwt. Pizza was very good!

Gay Nineties has been here for decades and gets top marks as the downtown family pub & pizza joint. Some of there better dishes include prawns provincial and their cob salad! I think those can compete with the much higher priced haut cuisine downtown, but their bread & butter is their bread and butter, that is their french bread and pizza crust, very delicious! And if you need a place for a bigger family or team gathering, it’s the place to go for inside or beer garden seating. Also they have Stella on tap, which is my favorite. And you can’t beat their prices anywhere downtown. 😃👍🏼

Service is always with a smile. Sit at the outdoor tables to enjoy the outdoors. It looks like a typical bar from the outside but it is very kid friendly.

My friend Michelle and her partner Brenden said this was a traditional to go to Gay 90s Pizza after the Scottish Festival. So yesterday we were inaugurated to delicious food. This was their 4th year at the festival. Best service far according to them. Our waitress was kind and checked in with us.

The pizza was absolutely delicious. For even better pizza It could have used 5 more mins in the oven to get crust baked all the way through and crunchy roasted cheese!!

Bread was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. It was so flavorful by itself. The bottom of the crust is good. It’s kind like a marriage of deep dish with Sicilian thin crust.

Besides the toppings tasted fresh and the sausage was especially good. The sauce is also what made it super flavorful on Franks Special.
