Mo'Joe Cafe

Excellent place with a great taste of music 🎶 I came here for a "Shut up and Write" meetup and had incredible processes in my work. I added menu with prices so you can be the judge of prices. Their salads are really rich and fulfilling. Also parking is relatively easy for a spot in Berkeley. Overall, deserves 5 stars pretty easily ⭐

The food is above average cafe foods, and the service was very friendly and quick. I love the atmosphere here because there is a small kids section and enough tables separate from that section so you can be alone or bring your kiddos along.

So sad to hear this place closed for good a few days ago. As a Cal student, this was always a great place to get work done and enjoy a coffee. I’m going to really miss it this school year.

I frequent this establishment and enjoy my time here every time. I love the music selection and the chill environment.

Quite honestly my favorite neighborhood cafe. They have everything you need:
- fast internet that you can use for free
- delicious food (get the paninis)
- great coffee
- cheap prices
- and they even play great music inside (I clocked Radiohead and Buena Vista Social Club in the same day)

I Love this place. Catch the World cup matches here. I've been going here for years probably went in the first week they opened during the recession and became a fan ever since. The owners are a couple of great friendly guys from Morocco and the fact that they stomached the recession and they expanded to Oakland is a testament that they know exactly what they're doing.

I love Mo'Joe's! Great place for a quick breakfast bite or no-fuss sandwich or salad for lunch. Homey, unpretentious atmosphere. Usually full of locals and grad students on laptop computers. At peak hours, it might be difficult to get a table, but one usually opens up in a matter of minutes.

Mojoe's is my go-to place when I want to feel home away from home. The owners are super nice, the service is consistent and its light and airy, with comfortable seating. Free wifi. Family friendly. Often full, but never a crowded feel. The food is delicious, and they have a great selection of teas. Mojoe gets 5 stars from me.

I ordered a latte and a panini. The latte was delish and well worth the price :) the twisted psychological deathtrap of a sandwich I was given has scarred me beyond repair. Upon handoff of the chicken panini i ordered, i sensed something was amiss, but could not quite place my finger on it. It was only upon getting to my car and unwrapping the to-go packaging that I realized the saw-style horror show that I had walked myself into. The top slice of perfectly toasted chibatta bread was cut in two symmetrical triangles inverting one another across its diagonal axis, this cut was deep enough to slice through the remaining contents of the panini, save for one excruciating detail- the bottom slice of (perfectly toasted) chibatta bread was not cut at all! There i was, right where they wanted me, in my car with no utensil access trying to find a way to access the cheesy-chickeny medoly of deliciousness trapped between a bun devised by some manner of super villain. Not only could I not break it in two pieces to have better biting access, but even as i attempted to brave the hulking mass of carbohydrates as a single piece, the top slices would slide and sway forcing the structural integrity to fail. Defeated, i cursed to the heavens as i drove home and finally cut the rest of that demonic contraption myself. Would also have liked to see a higher ratio of chicken to peppers, but you get what you pay for.

Awesome salads and sandwiches. I have NEVER had a bad meal here and have been coming since they opened.

Quality, hand-crafted sandwiches. Indoor decor gives homey ambiance. Friendly staff and service. Awesome beverage menu, too.

Nice staff, good place for working on your computer or hanging out casually with folks of all ages. Few tables outside get wifi too for working in the sun/shade some days.

Good food friendly staffs, and good prices too, i bring my grandkid Lucy and charlie to come here for their hot choclate and potato chips, nice classical background music too

Super friendly staff, and smiley patrons. The staff even came around during street cleaning to make sure no one was parked where they'd get a ticket.

Best coffee in the Bay Area! I love my "cortado".Very friendly staff. The sandwiches and salads are delicious.

Can get just about anything you could want.
