Wow great selection found a ton of albums I was looking for .There was so many things that I wanted I had to stop shopping and check out for fear of spending any more money. Luckily I live 80 miles away. I will be back.

Great selection and prices. Large vinyl newly arrived used section with some hard to find items. I usually shop the rock, soul, and world sections. There is also a great selection of Jazz and Blues and more. Massive CD selection new and used with out of print stuff and great compilations. Friendly service, always good music playing.

Awesome place: home of Arhoolie Records, The Spot for Authentic Americana and hemispheric tunes .... plus rare and unusual Latin American, blues, zydeco, Cajun , and Tex-Mex recordings.... the very best. A hidden gem. When you go you will say, 'how did I never hear of this place before'? It WILL blow your mind!

Small, delightful music store, great staff. Vinyl and CDs, some memorabilia. Jazz, folk, blues are what I go for, but there's other stuff too. Can listen to CD there, probably the records too. Love this place.

This is a great music store they were having a $1 per CD on classical when I went in so 'nat Inwas very happy with my visit but they have an awesome vinyl collection and tons if bluegrass and reggae and everything in between. The owners were in working the counter so I had a great experience but also you can listen to the music before you buy and just hang out. Therebis no pressure. It's an awesome store.

This is a wonderful store and a community resource. There is a room dedicated to vinyl and there are numerous listening stations in the CD area. Independent record stores have sadly become uncommon. A visit here will expose you to music you may not yet know you enjoy!

The original home of Arhoolie Records founded Chris Strachwitz who traveled the south recording obscure Blues, Gospel, Zydeco, Jazz and folk musicians. His collection was sold to the Smithsonian. The current owner has kept up the tradition with a huge selection of World, Blues, Jazz, Country, Folk and Rock vinyl, cds, 78's and 45's as well as books, posters and more!

One of the best record stores in the country, no kidding. Very knowledgeable staff and a broad selection of music.
Ain't No Mouse Music is a documentary about Arhoolie Records which is housed in this same location.

THE place to go for records and CDs, and especially ideas and advice on music. Browsing heaven, with new and used, and a place to listen if you've never heard what you find or are guided to. My first stop for music adventures . . . And the prices are right, too - especially with used!

The group that was playing was amazing! It was a combination of African & Spanish music. The gentleman explained the background and history of the music and the 3 drums that were being played. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
