Natural food is great minus their small parking lot. Great beer/wine selection in the Annex.

It’s a great place. There’s a lot of kombucha and a lot of chocolate., everyone’s really friendly and the bulk food section has many fun and exciting surprises for the average shopper.

This is a great grocery store if you seek out organic products and want to support local businesses. It is small but mighty!

I like that they have parking lot and able to find parking. Their deli is awesome! I can find everything I need at this grocery store. They have the most organic stuff.

The people who work here are so nice and patient. My kids were acting crazy inside the store and I was clearly overwhelmed and outnumbered. Rather than give me side eye and stink eye they went out of their way to help me, it was really a surprise and so pleasantly unexpected

Their produce, both in variety and quality is amazing. They have SO many kinds of apples, including a lot of heirloom hard-to-find ones. Often have some neat exotic types of fruit, I've seen passion fruit, dragon fruit, custard apples, Buddha's hand, just to name a few. They have a great selection of dry bulk goods, about any kind of herbal or vitamin supplement you can imagine. A ton of teas! A variety of types of milk including lactose free, A2, and raw. They have a good variety of household items including hygiene (bath, tooth, deodorant, hair care) and things like reusable containers, paper towels, and bottles. Their meat department is awesome and they have duck eggs and meat available. They also have RO water available (I keep shrimp so this is such a nice treat!)

The staff are always super helpful and friendly and it always feels very welcoming there. The prices are high, sure, but between being an organic, health focused business and a local grocer I think their prices are more than reasonable and it's not hard to find things in budget especially if you stick to the produce and dry goods. You get your money's worth that's for sure. I'm getting distracted writing this thinking of the persimmons I got recently. Last time I had persimmons that good was when I was picking them off the tree myself. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

This is a wonderful store to buy organic and sustainable products at prices competitive with other organic grocers. They do their best to stock and curate a variety of goods, considering the space available. They carry what I consider the best dried pasta brand around, Montebello.

They have a meat counter and the butchers are friendly and open to questions and requests.

They have charging stations for electric and hybrid vehicles in their parking lot and clean public bathrooms. I recommend checking out their wine and beer selections in the Annex, if you enjoy that kind of thing.

Fabulous natural foods market. It's like your in a quaint town with city diversity!!

Very very good smoothies here. They also have a great selection of fresh tea. I love a shop that knows about herbs and such. Great breakfast burrito ready to go.

This is a great market. I'm from Vallejo and it's the closest I can get to real food. I appreciate the friendly grocery workers too. They are super kind and helpful.

Expensive, but top quality food, convenient, and great produce

I just started working for The Natural Grocery Company in December 2021 and have to say over all that it's the best job that I have ever had. The whole atmosphere and its management and workers is just so amazing. Co-workers really work with each other and management checks up on everyone. The shoppers are extremely friendly and understanding. Breaks and pay are super fair. Just a great place to work all together. If you're looking for a job, this would be one I would highly recommend!!!

Always clean, well stocked, very helpful, friendly staff. Annex next door has great, tasty, fresh pre-made food and flowers.

They have Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Nuts and Groceries. All are cheaper than other convenient stores. I really like this shop.

Best grocery store in the east bay, great juices and prepared foods in the annex next door

I typically stop by this store at least twice a week. Sometimes I don't really need anything, I just like to "soak up" the atmosphere! The people who work here are generally polite and friendly. The selection of products is excellent. The parking is also good (about as good as it can be in the Bay Area.) I prefer it to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, (though each of those stores has its merits, too.) I am also happy to see that there is not a high turnover rate among the employees -- you see the same (delightful) faces each time you visit, some of whom have worked at the store for years. (I take it as a good sign when a business like this can keep its employees.) I heartily recommend this store.
