Jack Bartz is great. He made my first year where my taxes were a bit more complicated very painless. And he charges very fairly as well. I will be working with Jack in the future!

This is a review for Mary. Absolutely horrible customer service on her end with doing taxes. Very unprofessional and very rude to encounter with. I thought I got a bad experience till I read other reviews about her and the way she is, not someone I’d recommend doing my taxes. It’s been a back and forth operation with her on paperwork she has lacked and putting incorrect information in for me having to keep hearing from her about something else she needs. Because both mine and girlfriends returns were rejected for false information. Save your time and go to somebody else. I will never be going here again. The last words I heard from her was “they will accept it this time and you won’t hear from us again” , never heard a “hope to see you next year, thanks for ur patience, sorry for the confusion” just a very rude and unprofessional experience from her I wouldn’t recommend for anyone else.

This review is for Mary. My husband and I filed our taxes here as we have in the past. We owed money this year; about $720. We sent a check off for the correct amount and when we returned from our spring break vacation, we found a nice little letter from the IRS stating we had filed our taxes incorrectly and owed $1,700. I contacted Mary about this and was not given an apology, but an excuse that her “system made an error” and to reach out if I had any questions. This was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional to me, and I wish I’d gone to someone who knew how to correctly use their accounting system.

This is a review for Mary. I saw her to help with my taxes but help is the last thing I got. She asked no questions of my situation and didn’t even bother to look over my prior year taxes. After putting in the stuff I brought, she told me what I would be getting back with no explanation of how she came to that number. Luckily, I had done some research and asked her about potential credits that I found. Some even being credits I claimed on my prior taxes that were sitting right in front her . When I brought this to her attention, that I would have missed out on additional money if I hadn’t done the research myself, she became combative. Our discussion got heated and ultimately I left. I ended up doing my taxes through H&R Block and found that I would have missed out on $1200 if I would have trusted her to do it. I will say that Jack offered to make things right and look at my taxes but I had no desire to go back there. Especially since everyone else in the office heard our discussion at the time and could have intervened then. Mary did the absolute minimum she had to do. I even found later that she flat out lied to me about one of the credits, saying she put the info in my return but that credit couldn’t even be applied for until after my taxes were filed. Which I specifically asked her about.
