Shop & Hop Discount Grocers

I always find the things I need and the things I don't need but want desperately. This store is clean and organized.

I especially like their condiment section and pet food. I can find gluten-free items here and can always expect a hello when I come in and help when I leave.

It's like a magical trip to get things you don't know that you want to try. I can keep my canned goods stocked up as well as baking goods at a lower price than the major grocery stores.

If you get a cart and peruse around the store you can find cereal, bread, personal items, cooking items, inexpensive light bulbs and so much more.

Pretty sweet discount grocery store. They have a lot of snacks and stuff for really cheap if you don't mind some... imperfections.. I would totally go back for some cheap snacks for lunches.

Moved from Shelton some years ago and whenever I'm in town I stop into the Hop, great deals on things I always need, check it out folks 👍

The only other discount grocery store I had been to before this is Grocery Outlet. The prices here were way better! Keep an eye out for expiration dates, a few of the dry goods were best by same day but we aren't super picky about it. Also know they don't have everything at once that a typical grocery store would, so you won't necessarily be able to buy every single thing on your list there every time. We found a great selection of snacks, candy, cereal, and baking goods for fantastic prices. The store was clean and well organized, friendly staff. I'm excited to start shopping here first and just filling in the rest of my list at the typical stores.

Okay we all realize that shop & Hop has great low prices and the staff is friendly but I just was getting ready to drive away and had to share how nice it is that the cashier called every price and quantity as she was ringing my items in. I didn't pay attention because I had no need to. She was doing it for me, just another added bonus for shopping at 'Shop & Hop' Good Day

Good variety and good deals. Always something new I've never seen and some of the deals are mind blowing with how good they are compared to other stores. I always work going there in my monthly food shopping.

Not your usual grocery store! But if you are looking for top quality brands and want to save money... a LOT of money... check them out! Inventory changes a lot, so stopping in to see what's new is an adventure. I picked up salad dressing (Newman's) for a buck! Awesome!

Lots of high quality items available at very low prices. You can find some interesting sauces and sodas in here. Stock changes all the time so you'll usually find something new whenever you come in.

Nice little grocery store in downtown Shelton. I just stopped in to buy a dog timeout, which they surprisingly had for less than $2 and some cold drinks. They even sell water in a soda can!! 4 for $1

Great spot to find some deals and save money. Swing by here before you go to the grocery store for sure.

I enjoy shopping at the shop & hop. Always get the great treat's for the grandkids and for the birthday partys, and the other holiday get togethers. You have to remember that it's a discount store and I have gotten a few items that are past date. Something's are still good, but sometimes the idem is bad, smell and taste a tiny bit before using the idem. It's the same as shopping at the Dollar Tree, or any other discount store. Need to use the food, not for stocking up your shelf's for emergencies a few years from now.

The people here are friendly and helpful. Prices are great. Lot's of bargains. Got to go check it out... You'll love going here as much as I do. You can find lots of vegetarian and vegan foods here also.

Always something new to find! Able to see everything clearly displayed. Help when needed, everyone wearing a mask. Overall excellent experience, would recommend to anyone who likes saving money.

Little store where you can get food and other items alot cheaper then a big grocery store. They don't Carrie all items you would find in a grocery store but enough that I go there alot .

Friendly and helpful staff. They have great prices on an assortment of goods.

Oh my God and the middle of this inflationary prices you've got to go to the store especially on dry goods and canned goods. And they treat you like family in there🍀
