We go there to let our dog run around. It's always mowed and for the most part people pick up after their dogs. Middle of the day is best time for the dogs. Not to many people there. There's a very nice play ground for the kids too.

Great playground, one of the most unique looking playground in Livermore, Tracy, Dublin and nearby areas. This playground shows how effectively space can be organized. My kids loved the place

Took my 5-year-old and my 1-year-olds here with my brother and it was lovely. Bathrooms are usable and the play area makes it easy to keep an eye on your child.

It's a beautiful park and my grandkids had fun at the birthday party there.

This playground is great for toddlers as well as older kids. There’s a lot to explore and do and I love that the ground it rubbery to protect against our little ones’ trips and falls. We visited on a cool evening, but the giant flowers were still fun to look at and I’m sure necessary on hot sunny days.

This is a great playground for kids, with tennis/pickleball/basketball courts right next to it, green space, a pool, dog park, and a little library! Really nice little community park with tons of stuff to do.

Good selection of playground equipment, sand boxes, sports fields, a swimming pool, public library, and a dog park.

Upgrading to 5 stars because the city renovated the park and made it pretty darn cool.

Really beautiful park! Alot of activities to do for all ages. Love that it is right by the library, can easily spend half day there. Lots of benches for picnic.

May Nissen Park had all the sports spots- tennis, basketball, softball, swimming, horse shoe, large group picnic areas with bbq, a dog park, a preschool, a public library & the most colorful playground I’ve ever seen! 😍🤩
Under the canopies of gigantic flowers is an almost completely gated foam floored playground! There are 2 sides to this playground with a giant sandbox & sidewalk games in the back. One side is geared more towards smaller kids with bucket swings, a roller slide, tunnels, teeter totters, rocking ride on toys, spinning cups, an updated merry go round, plus a smaller structure. The structure is accessible but the elevated sidewalk through the middle or via steps, ladder, or climbing wall. There are 2 double slides plus activities mixed into this structure.
The other side is made more for bigger kids & has a 4 person teeter totter, swings (standard & chair), a great hill for running up & sliding down (bring cardboard!) plus the play structure. This structure is also accessible via the elevated sidewalk & other steps, ladders, & climbing walls. It has one spiral slide & plenty of ramp space plus a rope railing board base bridge. Along the side of the fence is exercise equipment & a musical area (mallet instruments, drums, & a human powered sound machine...it played actual recorded music ... cool, but do I really wanna hear Old McDonald had a Farm while at the park? Not really).
I really really liked all the color at this park. We jumped around on the big color mounds & hopped from circle to circle on the sidewalk games.
There is a parking lot right near the playground but it was full because they were doing vaccines in the parking lot. I’m sure without vaccines the parking would be great. ( TIP: if it’s full when you go circle around to the cul de sac on Bernal Ave. It ends right at the entrance to the playground (a tad close for a road & a playground opening but it’s a cul se sac) On the other side of the parking lot is another small play area w/climbing activities.
There are bathrooms! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Great looking local park. We played pickleball on the tennis courts, they were in great shape. I saw life guards preparing the pool. There was also a playground, picnic tables, toilets, and there's a gas station next door that sells ice - key for a hot day.

Lovely inclusive park. Fun for all ages with a sand pit on the side. Like that it has some good shade.

This park is amazing for the kiddos. There is a lot of basketball courts and a couple playgrounds for the kiddos to play. What I like the most is the flower shades that they installed in the park. There is also tables where you can sit down and eat or you can also reserve a spot for any party or event.

Wonderful park!!! I daresay best in Livermore. Has restrooms, VERY big playground, with rubber surfaces. Rincon library and May Nissen pool next door - you can spend all day here in summer, just bring snacks and food to picnic. Has four basketball courts, and on the other side of the library (next to the parking lot) a third playground, grassy fields, and a dog run. Unique features are a musical station with nursery songs on a spinning wheel and xylophones. Finally a very large sand box between the library and the park. Has shaded and sunny areas, for any weather. Not very windy on cooler days. Just the best all around.

Big and fun playground appropriate for all ages. Several shade canopies and picnic tables. The sand box is clean! There are bathrooms, but our family has not used them.

Family-friendly large park offering partly shaded areas along with open areas, courts, bathrooms, gated areas, Pickleball, and tennis courts. An artistic touch was applied to the tall artificial flowers that provide shade as well as a bit of whimsy.

The new park is very very nice for the children. The new tennis courts are awesome. They need to update their barbecues and tables for barbecuing. But a nice place to take the kids for a few hours.
They have a pool but it's hardly ever open. Would like it to be open more.

It has a nice dog park, couple of children playgrounds, community swimming pool, and library. A field and a nice spacious group gathering picnic with pit. Got to reserve that though. Not to mention; Arco gas and a good burger place: Ben's Burgers, great food sit down place. The fries are delicious as well the shakes any way you want it.
