Been going here for the past 10 years. Nice strong coffees, spicy chais done right, hearty & tasty sandwiches perfect for road trips, and my son’s favorite banana bread here.

I love this place! Beautiful artwork and atmosphere but in a small neighborhood community way. Lots of interesting people of all types get together and have ongoing discussions about everything. It reminds me very much of how cafes were in the 90s. The spicy chicken salad sandwich and the grilled paninnis are my favorite and the espresso drinks are excellent. Please keep this place a secret though! I don't want it to get crowded!

My favorite cafe for GREAT coffee. Strong and made well. My dad literally comes every day for an espresso. Really good food too! The owner, Tristen, is a cool human who runs the show. Stop by and try Earthly Coffee for drinks and or food! Good fresh sandwiches.....

Visiting from out of town, I was extremely happy to find this place was just around the corner from where I was staying. A TREMENDOUS breakfast burrito, great sandwiches, and marvelous coffee. The fellow who helped, and cooked for me, was very nice and helped round out the terrific experience!

This has become my to go coffee shop. Whenever I'm doing a delivery at the auto shop next door I stop by Earthly for an iced coffee and hot pastrami sandwich. Honestly the best hot pastrami in Oakland in my opinion. Such a cozy vibe when you stop in too

The best little coffee house in town. Homey and comfortable environment. The proprietor and the folks who work there are friendly and treat people like beloved neighbors. Their coffee is good and hearty. Their sandwiches are as nature intended: Delicious. I've never had a bad experience there, and I've been going there several times a week for two years. Definitely a local favorite.

I love this place! Discovered it while my folks were visiting town, and took em here. Super friendly staff, good bagels, and strong delicious coffee. My parents were happy with it. The guy even knows my order! And of course, having BART swing by right outside gives this coffee spot a classic Oakland feel

By far the best breakfast burrito I've ever had! Fresh spinach, amazing bacon jam, and a variety of hot sauces. I literally drive over from San Francisco just for this burrito, and the excellent people that make the magic happen. This coffee shop feels like home to me.

Incredibly friendly owner, doing all the jobs and wearing all the hats. Local and pleasant, easy to park on nearby streets, and nice seating inside

Just had the spicy tuna salad sandwich and it was terrific. Beautiful homemade rye bread, and the sriracha packs so much flavor. Visiting from Seattle and really enjoyed the warm and friendly service and terrific food. Thank you!

Good food and coffee at reasonable prices from friendly people. Hard to get much better than that! Great spot to stop to fuel up before or after bike rides.
Also they make their own juice mixes which are absolutely delicious.

Great local cafe, and the quality of the food and drinks is consistently high. For those not looking for a coffee fix, I highly recommend the chai or herbal iced tea, both house-made concoctions that are unique and delicious! Can't wait for COVID to be over so we can actually hang out here as it seems like a very chill and cozy spot.

Awesome coffee, tea and sandwich shop with friends owners and staff. I'm allergic to wheat and they took care of me with a gluten free bagel. They also have nice seating outside the front which gets nice mid afternoon sunlight.

Been wanting to stop and check this place out for years and finally did so! Their fare matches their tagline: strong coffee and good food. Had the roast beef with aged cheddar on a baguette with horse radish and red onion. Man did it have bite! So I bit it back. Looking forward to my next visit.

Lovingly known as "Strong Coffee Good Food" at our house due to the sign out front, this place is as advertised.
Good value on their menu and a welcoming atmosphere makes this place a true local joint that is one of the neighborhood's best.

Good neighbourhood coffee shop with simple eats (bagel sandwiches, &c). Diverse customer base. Good seating & ample work space. Music tends toward '80s New Wave & pop, but sometimes ventures into other genres.

This place was exactly what I wanted on my way into work in the morning they made me a super yummy mocha, not too sweet but nice and Rich with a great coffee and chocolate taste. And it took all of about 4 minutes from start to finish. I highly recommend them!
