My absolutely go to for everything. Coffee, cakes, cupcakes, you name it they got it also my go to for gluten-free pistachio cake is to die for. Love the daily fruit muffin. Best carrot cake in town. They also did my wedding cakes. That good.

I ordered the Pavé Torte from this bakeshop and had it delivered to my mother as our family's Christmas surprise for her. The ordering process was very smooth and easy and Amanda has been easy to communicate with as I verified that my order was received and then delivered on the date I had requested. Overall, I experienced great service and the price of the torte was very reasonable along with the delivery charge.

I wish I was a local so that I could try their offerings which all look delicious. I will visit for sure when I am in town.

If you or someone you are buying these for do not like a super sweet tasting cupcake then the mixed cupcake batch is perfect. The cream cheese frosting is perfect and the cupcake bread was rich and delicious.

I had to call because my order was forgot about after the scheduled 4:30pm time but it was quickly taken care of after a phone call with acknowledgement from the person who picked up that it would be fixed quickly. I respect the honesty, my item was delivered quickly and was also give a free cookie which was also delicious.

My favorite cake of all-time is the carrot cake and Adeline makes the best! Let it sit out for a few hours at room temp and serve with a large cold glass of milk. It's perfectly cinnamon-y and moist cowboy bread with a velvety whipped cheesecake pudding frosting. So delicious. Thank you for making my birthday special.

Tried this bakery for the first time and it was delicious!!! Went with a quiche for the morning, which had an amazing texture and flavor. The holiday desserts (eggnong cheesecake and hibiscus lime tart) had great flavor. Pickup was also easy and the staff was friendly. Definitely a repeat.

Update: repeated! Still delicious. The cake is so light and fluffy, and the pie has great berry flavors. Will definitely be back!

Decided to try a cake from a new bakery in my area and came here. It was an early Saturday morning and the line was already almost out the door. I ordered the buckle cake and half of the rose pistachio torte cake for my moms birthday. They both were BIG hits. The torte cake had so much flavor and the texture was amazing. The buckle cake was equally as good but better OMG is was so moist and flavorful. The fruit at the bottom was raspberries and cranberries so it gave a tart taste but the vanilla flavor was still there. I have never had a cake so moist like the buckle cake. The good thing about this place is you can buy by the slice as well so now I wouldn’t have to wait until another birthday to enjoy some cake. Because they get busy I would suggest going early to get some very tasty treats.

Delectable cakes and pastries and pies. All freshly made on the premises and when they run out, they run out.

Somewhat expensive but definitely worth visiting if you're in the area.

I thought the shop was super cute and the staff was very welcomecoming of all of my questions! When a place seems to stand for quality over quantity, it’s just nice to know a little bit more about what you are paying for! The strawberries and cream cake slice was light yet perfectly filling (vs being a sugar bomb that gives you a stomach ache), especially with a cup of quality decaf! Thank you for making this a nice first visit!

This place was sooo good. Not pictured are the chocolate stout cupcakes I had later that were ~heaven~. I don’t live here, but I want to fly back just for this gem. The ricotta pastry is one of the best pastries I’ve had in a good while. I was skeptical about the apple fennel scone, but it wasn’t dry and the taste worked so much more than I thought it would. I don’t think anything here could be a bad choice. Staff was super nice and service was quick.

The key lime pie is beyond words spectacular. Bought one for husbands 61 birthday and was a huge hit. Don’t miss their apple cake either. It sells out and is amazing. I have been going to Sweet Adaline’s for over 10 years. It has changed hands in those years and still fantastic. Their pie crust is one of the best ever tasted. Can’t remember if we ever got anything we didn’t devour in a single day. We have moved but I still drive 30+ minutes for this gem of a bakery.

The team at Sweet Adeline is absolutely incredible - over the top customer service! I was unable to pick up a cake I ordered and they went out of their way to text me and make sure the cake got to me, first offering to stay at the shop late to wait for me and then offering to bring it to me personally. You can tell they love their craft and proud of what they create. Their cakes always taste incredible, and needless to say I will be a repeat customer. Thank you all!

Fantastic pastries and coffee…we tried many when we stopped by today. Veggie curry pastry, ham and cheese pastry, apple turnover, chocolate chip cookies, snack-y cookies, donut muffin and lattes. Yummmmmm

Yooooo this bakery right here. THIS bakery. Every item is a home run. Stop what you are doing and get a slice of the buckle cake and the lime hibiscus meringue. Wow. Life-changing. Very friendly staff. From out of town but I'll go out of my way to come back. Thanks! 💛💛💛

Everything is delicious from the food to the drinks. The staff is kind very attentive and remember you. They are affordable. Visiting with friends here is also really quaint

Mocha ( I love the chocolate they use), a super flaky crusted ham and gruyere turnover; and the best chocolate chip cookie I've had in years. Highly recommended. And the staff IS extremely friendly and welcoming. A true gem.

Outstanding customer service and delectable choices of tasty goods. It was easy to order online and pick up when notified by text and email. We tried the Apple Cranberry Crumble and it was amazing and so delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Picked up the most delicious cake yesterday! We got the strawberries and cream cake with white chocolate on the outside, and this was probably the best cake I’ve ever had. And that’s being said as someone who’s not a big cake person. The cake was very light and flavorful, and they did not skimp out on the strawberries, which was amazing!

Hands down one of the best bakery shops I’ve visited in Berkeley. Not pictured and I ordered was a slice of the cardamom rose cake. It was simply delicious and it would complement so well with chai. I can’t wait to buy to the whole cake next time and share it with my family. Their Apple cider is also really sweet and worth the try.
