Ed Roberts Campus

The Ed Robert's Campus is an architectural and historical monument to the struggles and triumphs of the differently abled population of Alameda County. On top of multiple programs servicing this amazing group, there is a free (pre and post COVID-19) acupuncture clinic 4 days/wk run for over 20 years by the healing hands of the woman (honestly) named Hope. Also, there is a Lifelong Ashby Doctor's office with the best team of clinicians I have ever had any experience with. Lastly, on the first floor, a small deli. You may run into a trio of a teacher helping a new and thrilled owner of a seeing eye dog learn how to communicate with eachother. You may see an art class or dance class of differently abled clients enjoying the day. There is also a suboxone support group for recovering addicts at Lifelong. 5 stars...A sky full of stars!

There are several agencies here that help people with disabilities. There are also lots of resources available. At the moment, the campus is being used as a polling place. That was very useful for me!

Ed Roberts Campus is an all inclusive building for the disabled Community. Every service except for the sighted can be found there. It was thoughtfully and beautifully planned and the result is FANTASTIC!
