Terrific beverages, and not over sweetened! Yeah! I am a little obsessed with their Strawberries and Cream Matcha Latte - a current special for the sun sign Cancer. Looking forward to what they bring for Leo's like me. They are not afraid to experiment, which I love.

They have a small store front, with a cute little loft area that I enjoy every time I visit the Bay area. The staff is excellent and they round out the chill vibe with professional barista skills and awesome playlists.

I'd be here everyday if I lived in the area. Check it out if you want to be kind to your taste buds.

This place has such an awesome vibe! Good espresso beverages, good enough pastries, but oh man they have spiral staircase and an upstairs loft with air conditioning!!!! Plus all of the plants and the interior decor, this is a real catch. Will definitely come back here.

A cute little spot to get coffee! The gold accents, gallery wall and chalkboard add a glamorous yet friendly touch. I prefer to order the drip coffee or a cortado. Beans from Mother Tongue are available for purchase and staff can grind them for you. They often have house made syrups, like strawberry or cinnamon, available to liven up your lattes as well. They serve treats from Firebrand and are dog friendly!

This hidden gem is completely adorable, offering oat milk lattes and scrumptious pastries. The decor is like a blog post, with delicate pastels and gold accents throughout. There’s a cute, private space up the spiral staircase to relax and enjoy your goodies.

I love this cafe! Highly recommend! Best espresso in Berkeley. They make yummy seasonal syrups and sell delicious pastries. Try the gluten-free and vegan fruit bar! Also, the baristas are pretty cute :)

This place is adorable. A crocodile bookend keeps the cup cozies in place, and several paintings and photographs adorn the walls of women, like After the Ball by Ramon Casas and three witches dancing by Helen Moller. I tried the seasonal rosemary and sage latte and good lord it was delicious. The ladies working the counter were efficient and friendly. It’s cozy, a touch witchy, and a perfect match for what I seek out in a cafe.

Love this little gem of a coffee shop! A much needed addition to the neighborhood. I always walk in to smiling faces and they have THE BEST atmosphere. Love that they use Counter Culture Coffee and offer delicious oat milk!! Make sure to check out their upstairs nook.

Fantastic spot. They have created an oasis of understated coffee heaven in the midst of the hustle and bustle of a crazy hectic downtown intersection. It's like one of those movies with the hidden door to another world: from dirty streets to a calm, quiet, clean sanctuary of carefully weighed and measured coffee perfection. Ask them about the science of their brewing and this thinly veiled Harry Potter analogy I'm working on has completely materialized. Bottom line, terrific staff, amazing coffee and baked goods, and truly becoming my favorite respite in Berkeley from the urban madness.

I love Gold Leaf! They have so many amazing drinks and pastry options, and everyone is always so kind. I’m excited for when indoor dining is open again because there’s a lovely upstairs sitting area. All to-go cups and straws are compostable!

Definitely one of my go-to cafes! Happy to have discovered this little gem, and couldn't be a bigger fan of the brews and teas they have on drip. Highly recommended for the overall atmosphere, great vibe for conversation, and getting deep into a good book.

No wifi yet, but maybe soon! And dog treats are certainly a plus.

Charming coffee shop with great coffee and delicious goodies. They've set up the shop to allow for easy curbside ordering, following all social distancing guidelines during COVID. Great place to fuel up after shopping at TJ's across the street. Feels nice to support local businesses during this time - go check it out!

I love coming here for coffee. Good, happy vibes with delightful owner and staff, and best brew in the east bay. Also correctly chose pastry selection and an underground source for boichik.

I adore this place. The decor is great and you can go upstairs with a book and relax or work remotely. The coffee is great and they carry freshly baked treats as well. Most of all Leanne is the best!!

Execllent locally roasted coffee! Gold Leaf is a very charming little space with a loft and a book shelf full of books (that if you want to keep you can make a charitable donation that LeeAnn give to a community project). Really nice owner and staff and an accessibility friendly space.

I'm a short walk from so many great coffee shops and I find myself stopping by this cafe at least once a week. They carry Boichik bagels and some other great pastries so get there before they run out.

Get your coffee from this friendly and charming cafe! The coffee is delicious and they have a convenient setup for ordering while remaining socially distant.
