Extended Stay America - Richmond - Hilltop Mall

Wonderful 1 night experience at this ESA. I only needed a room for one night and feel fortunate to have found this ESA at such a great price. I was kindly welcomed by Shanti and Joseph at the front desk and have never had such a pleasurable check in experience. Both employees went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and knew everything I needed to know about my stay here. The room was very comfortable and clean, but I what will bring me back to stay here again is the hospitality of the staff. Happy and kind people greeting you after a long days travel makes all the difference in the world.

Lydia does the room service . My experience with her was good . I have no complaints when it comes to her. I can ask her the same day and she try's and does get the job done. Thanks Lydia

Best ESA I’ve ever stayed at from the cleanliness to the kindness of the staff to the type of people hanging around (some are super sketch). ALL of the staff were friendly (to both my dog and I), but Monique at the front desk was just absolutely AWESOME. Location was great, everything you’d need was within a 5 minute drive. If work brings me to the area again, I’ll definitely rebook.

Angel at the front desk is amazing. Unfortunately I had a problem at check in but she went above and beyond to help figure things out and make it work. She definitely helped ease the situation. She helped us bring in our bags. Walked us to our room and got us started with everything we need. She really took care of us. This location is so lucky to have a good hearted, genuine person like her. I hope that she is recognized because a employee like her will definitely keep the customers coming back. Thank you Angel!

It's pretty decent. It has a small kitchen full refrigerator stove and microwave. The bathroom is decent. It's a clean room. The heater does not work. I do not need the AC in Danville. I am here only for work. I am at a different hotel each week. My work pays for it. It has free internet with the option for an upgrade if you want to buy it by the hour up to a month

Very safe location tucked away in a quiet area. The mini studio I checked into had a mini kitchen with a stove and microwave and full size refrigerator! The desk staff was above and beyond during checkin, Jayvon took amazing care of us and it was an easy breezy check in. Will definitely choose this location when traveling for work again!

Me and my mother stay here was extremely great. We would never forget the 4 ladies who was super helpful, nice, and caring except for 1 of them. Mariah helped us and she was so sweet and very helpful when we asked for a store nearby. Monique was so thoughtful in making sure we were comfortable as possible. Tiana she was one of my favorite, we had many conversations and to hear about her accident was truly heartbreaking. She always greeted us and others coming in and out, her smile brighten up the room and she have excellent customer service! Those 3 ladies would be why I give this place a 10/10. So I give Mariah, Monique, & Tiana 10s. The only down fall is the other lady Kassandra is extremely rude and always loud. We asked for towels and she had an attitude when we request it. I was getting coffee for me and my mom and she was just cussing and being extremely rude. She has HORRIBLE customer service and I would not ask her for anything if we come back. I give her a ZERO! Other then that the place was clean, and the 3 ladies made us feel like we was home. Definitely would come back in the future!

From the minute I stepped into the lobby , I was greeted by the manager Nick. He’s very friendly , easy to talk to and he makes you feel at home. Anytime I needed something , he helped . He’s the first manager that I ever saw clean rooms , dump trash , vacuum and do laundry. He always smiles. I would recommend to my friends and family to stay there if they are in the area.

I give this hotel a 5 star rating based of on the excellent customer service receive from the staff, specifically Bree. You have a special gem on your hands having her as a worker, she goes beyond her duties and has such a welcoming presence. I hope she gets more well deserved recognition in the future because she definitely adds a genuine heartwarming feel to this hotel and gave such good advice that’s forever going to stick with me.

I stayed here about 2 weeks ago , and plan on coming back . My stay was automatically fulfilled with joy once I was assisted by two young ladies named Bree and Mariah . They work wonderful together for the morning shift. I asked for a kitchen set , coffee pot , coffee, creamer & sugar , let’s not forget the toaster. Mariah made my kitchen set , passed me a toaster and coffee pot all while Bree hooked me up with all the necessary stuff for my pot while asking if my stay was going okay . They had it to me in no less than 2 minutes. They were very keen and precise . My husband and I appreciate the great hospitality. Also last but not least the night front desk person Bobby it was late at night and he was still willing to help me out with extra toilet paper & towels . Thank you Extended Stay Richmond. However the smell of cigarette smoke is ridiculous and powerful, but Bre gave me some febreeze which lightened the smell slightly, but with these gems of associates I’m willing to come again.

Staff member Jovon at the front desk gave amazing service. He is very polite and helped carry my bags during check in and check out. He also accommodated all my needs during my stay!

The best part of my experience was working with Charity. She has gone above and beyond. She exemplifies what true customer service is and without a doubt is an asset to this business! She is the reason I come back again and again

I would like to thank jovan and bri for their hospitality. Through our entire stay they helped us so much from the beginning to getting us an early check in to early check out. The manager was also very accommodating and understanding.

It was nice for a extended stay. It was clean and the hallway smelled good like dryer sheets but wasn't strong. It was peaceful. Only thing was one trash can and I had to search for it silly me it was in the cupboard underneath the sink there isn't one in the bathroom so that was it but wasn't a problem at all I just moved it into the bathroom. I only stayed over night but it was way better then most extended stays and they had excellent customer service. I definitely will stay again if I need too.

I had an excellent stay or actually I’m still having excellent stay I’m gonna be here for a while the staff is very helpful very courteous the kitchen that are clean as clean as you make them the only thing I’ve had to do is maybe ask them to change my linen every now and then other than that these rooms are like little studios I’m very happy here and I highly recommend them I gave them 10 stars

Been here for 3 weeks and have enjoyed their services. Jovon at the front desk and Tony the maintenance man have made my stay very comfortable.

My experience at Extended Stay America has been an absolute joy and Jovon has made sure my family and I are comfortable during our stay , along with always greeting people with a smile at the front desk .

I want to say Charity is the best at the front desk. She kindly and diligently worked on my reservation to clear the mistake made during booking. She is understanding and patient. Thank you!!!!
