Martinez Library - Contra Costa County Library

.... A year or so ago, they remodeled the place and made it AWESOME, there's new computers and the book shelves are spread out giving the appearance of a more spacious library. The circulation desk is cool with the book drop right in front.
Makes the business of doing books in a friendly atmosphere and a fun place to be..

The court building is right across the street from this location and so a lot of heated people frequent visiting here, it's just a really good place where people with any kind of stress can go and feel comfortable.

The library has great programs for kids! They gave out fantastic prizes for the "read beyond the beaten path" program. They make reading fun. I love the contra costa library programs and policies!

Real nice staff. They also have a CD and movie section apart from the books.

Free copies and several computers open. It is always clean and quiet. Great place to read.

Nice, small library. The people are friendly but parking can be scarce.

Great place to study at. Friendly staff.

Great place for books and research and weekly events for kids.

Would love it if you were open more!
