Ace Hardware of Pinole

I was presently surprised on entering the store there was a greeter, and I asked him where the air filters for my furnace were located, and he guided and directed me to the right place. The Customer service is great. The staff is nice. I can tell as I overheard other customers getting from the staff. The store is very clean and well organized. I will be paying them a visit again in the future.

Favorite ace hardware in the area. Their employees were all helpful the moment I walked in and helped me find what I needed. It was a team effort to find some things. I highly recommend this location if you need help finding something specific. Crazy good customer service. Give them all raises.

This ACE hardware store isn't family-owned, so they do price match, and it's conveniently close to our home. Personally, I'm not a fan of ACE, especially the independently owned and operated ones, because their service tends to be subpar and they can come across as entitled. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this ACE will match Home Depot's prices for products they carry, and they do it with a smile.

This is a colossal store. It has just about any hardware, tool, or equipment of good quality. Good place to look for gifts as well, because a merchandise from this store is very likely to last for a long time. Also, it is better to go to an actual store than to shop on line. Anyone makes better decisions when you actually see, smell or touch the product. I recomend to visit this particular store because you might find out that the store has something that you never thought you actually need. After a short tour inside the store, i believe, anyone will see something very useful and atractive to buy for himself or for someone you care about. Staff members are always ready to help.

I caused wall paint to chip and immediately ran to Ace Hardware late Sunday evening with a sample to have paint color matched. James and Stephen helped my husband and I, but the machine/computer did not help. We were told to come in the next day, but I called and got Denny, who not only discovered the issue but called me and kept me informed of the progress. Once all was up and running, and the supplies needed were there, Denny kept his promise and called me. The matched color worked seamlessly with ni lines of demarcation. One can not see or tell any difference. Thanks to James, Stephen, and Denny!!!! All went well!

The employees at Ace are wonderful. Everyone is helpful and kind. I prefer going here instead of the larger home improvement stores.

My wife and I are always treated respectfully & the folks there try their best to help us get all the supplies we need. At times it seems overwhelming to find what we are looking for but when we do need help the employees are willing to take the time to actually show us exactly where the item is located then ask us if we need anything else. Very good service. Plus everyone loves to say hi to our service dog “Bean” 🙂

This is my favorite Ace in the area (sorry other ace hardwares). It’s large, has lots of things other hardware stores don’t sell, and the staff is super helpful / friendly.

I have nothing negative to say about this store.

I was acknowledged by a greeter in the front area of the store. I was looking for 2 different items and I was helped where to find them by other members in the store. The members who helped me were very friendly and very quick in helping me. At checkout, one of the managers was my cashier and she really accomadated me with so much more. My whole experience made me feel good shopping in their store. They took a genuine interest in fully assisting me.

Wow, best ever seen. Helpful people! I have been to many ACE stores, this is a flagship location with amazing help!

Their commercial is no lie… “ACE is the place with the friendly hardware folk”. Not as much of a selection as HD or Lowes… prices are a little higher… but they take time to help you. They give veteran discount, returns are smooth, and did I mention they help you? Not the old HD “this isn’t my area, let me call somebody “ and you wait forever.

Great place for all your home fixing or decorating needs.
I have shopped here for years. They sell the greatest plants and soil and lawnmowers and weed trimmers! Always something new to see or browse around.
The staff is helpful and friendly.
They look for bargains for you as well.
Christmas items when in season is awesome!

I went to Ace hardware of Pinole to purchase some soil and other stuff I needed to replant my plant. Customer service was excellent. Plus they do have some delicious frozen pies

This is a great hardware store. They have amazing selections in hardware, nuts and bolts, lubricants, automotive, electrical. Much better than home depot that hold mostly middle of the line articles. While browsing for about 1/2 hour i was approached 3 tumes by staff offering help, while customers have to locate and line up for help at home depot. I highly recommens this store for hardware needs.

Almost always can find someone to help you. Also they have a very good nut and bolts section. Well lit and well organized. One of the better hardware stores around.

No joke, I buy some of the best frozen pies here.

Aside from the pastries, clean organized store with helpful staff that give you the small hometown hardware store experience.

I don’t think I’ve ever experienced this level of customer service at a hardware store. Brand new in town and like 5 different employees went out of their way to help me out and find some solutions problems getting settled. If they don’t have something they’ll point you in the right direction. Great bunch of people
