This review is LONG overdue for this preschool. We were lucky to enroll my then 2.5 yo son at this school during the summer of 2022 and on his first day there he didn’t even look back for us.

I wasn’t sure how he would adapt, if the kids would be friendly, or if the teachers would know his needs. Melissa and Haley reassured me as a parent and updated us with pictures via the schools app on a daily which was really comforting. I loved seeing my son interact and play. We were able to find what interested him the most here. Only a couple months later, my son was then diagnosed with ASD and GCP really made the effort to focus on Max and attend to his needs as needed. They were an amazing support not only to him but to me as well.

I think it’s important to shout out all the teachers there too. They work so hard to tire these kids out (lol) and really care about them. Special shout out to Ms. Esmeralda if she’s still there, my son was her shadow and they both loved each other so much <3

We enjoyed our time there and we hope that both him (along with his sister) can meet them again sometime.

Both of my two children attended the Garden from the time they were very little until they started Kinder. They loved it. I never worried about my children getting a developmentally appropriate education. Every day was filled with fun activities that also helped the kids learn the skills they needed to age into the next phase, and become the truest version of themselves. This school really understands the meaning of a play-based education and they respect children, not just parents. They are gentle in their approach to helping kids with social and emotional development and interactions with friends, but they also teach every child to respect one another. They have a clear and consistent structure every day, but also plenty of free and open play. This is truly an inclusive school where every teacher loves the children and is active and engaged with both the kids and parents. A real community, and absolutely the best start I could have asked for for my two kids.
The only downside was having to leave!

My baby girl graduated from the Garden this summer after 2 years and is now in Kindergarten. We found Garden after having a horrible experience elsewhere, and it saved us. The staff is what I now consider family. Having come from a place that my daughter would cry every morning at drop off, to her kicking off her shoes and saying Bye Mommy! I knew we found our preschool. The director always made time for me, even with things that were personal. The teachers loved my baby girl, helped when she got hurt, updated me along the way, and always had time to talk at pick up. We had no issues through our transition into kindergarten and that’s all thanks to the Garden. ❤❤

My son attended Garden Community for a year and a half. This was his first "school" experience and I was so worried about how my kiddo would do since his primary socializing years were lost to the pandemic. My fears were quickly relieved when I met all of the wonderful teachers and witnessed the school's atmosphere. All of the teachers were so loving to the children. There was always some kind of fun activity going on too, whether it was gardening, bounce house for a child's birthday, or an ice cream truck visiting.

We did not know it at the time, but my son has ADHD, and that brought on some challenges sometimes. But the teachers always seemed to handle it so well, and they were always quick to answer any of my questions or meet me to talk at drop off or pick up. My kiddo could not have been in better hands. He went on to elementary school so much more socially prepared and I am so grateful.

Our family had the most wonderful experience with The Garden! It was a joy to watch both of my children grow through the love and respect that they received from the whole Garden community—administrators, teachers, peers and other families. While it was very sad to say goodbye when they graduated, both of my kiddos are now thriving in elementary school as a result of all the care provided by The Garden Community Preschool.

I cannot say enough good things about this preschool. My son went to this preschool from 2.5-5 years of age. My son is also neurodivergent and Ms Melissa and her school were awesome with teaching him the way he needed to learn. He learned so many great socio-emotional skills while at this preschool. I credit this school to his elementary success. I’m just sad he graduated and she doesn’t have an elementary school too.

This is exactly the kind of play based preschool I have always wanted for my children. My son attended this preschool for more than 2 years and has now graduated. He loved his time there, his friends, and his teachers.

I reached out to inquire about a spot. They do not call back when you leave a message… I went to the location in person, and felt like I was being treated like a second rate person. I explained that I am having trouble booking a tour, I had a feeling she didn’t believe me by the look on her face. The owner was very kind at first, and gave me hope she would e-mail me information about the school. I was hoping to receive an email to schedule a tour date. It’s been a month and I have not gotten anything, and what’s worse they do not return phone calls. Communication is lacking…
