Oak View Memorial Park Cemetery

We recently had a witness cremation for my father here, and were so pleased with and comforted by the care and attention that both my father and my family were given during the process. The crematory operator was kind, compassionate, and friendly, and explained the entire cremation process for us from start to finish. We felt completely at ease and I’m glad that, of all the crematories out there, this is where my dad ended up. We (my dad included) were treated with respect and compassion and crematory operator made the process much more bearable. Thank you so, so much for doing the incredible work that you do and for taking care of our loved ones so respectfully.

I am so proud to have a crematory area that near our place, whose service is excellent and with compassion and care to the family. The operator was very compassionate and very respectful. He gave us enough time to see our mother, to grieve and to have time of silence. He explained every steps he was doing and assurance that we will get all the ashes. My family has worked quite a bit with Oak View Memorial Park over the years for arrangements and services. In particular each time we have worked with Joy and she has provided a very well organized and communicated experience. Joy has helped myself and family with all phases of fulfilling my loved ones’ wishes including pre-planning, financing, plot selections, choosing a marker, engraving on markers, funeral coordination with our local funeral home and many other things that come up. Blanca Castaneda has been very helpful and informative so that I was able to make a decision for my family’s final expenses. She laid everything out and explained each item with detail. I would like to share with you the occasions I have had business at Oakview Memorial Park Cemetery, and specifically with Joy Jordon-Leaver.
Obviously it wasn’t a “happy occasion”, but being able to converse with Joy on all the details sure made things easier to bear. She is detail oriented and covers every base that needs to be covered, and does it with endless compassion and care.

The number of my loved ones that are interred in the cemetery are many. I seem to be the one in my family to handle things and knowing that Joy is there makes me know I am not alone.
I would like to add that we happen to have known each other since Kindergarten, so it was just another reason that her familiar face is always so wonderful to see.

I am grateful to her for her service to our community. And having been born here in Antioch, well, Oakview Memorial Park holds a special place in my heart.

Oak View Memorial Park Cemetery is a large cemetery with diverse headstones and graves. I visit Oak View Memorial Park Cemetery once a month because my brother and aunt are buried there. I have always been impressed by how clean, peaceful, green, and wonderful it is. I have also attended many burial ceremonies there. Both the administrators and staff are extremely diligent, respectful, and friendly.

I lost my father recently. I had my father’s burial services here last week. I was very happy with the service provided by Oak View. Joy is a very kind woman. She made sure my father got the proper burial services he deserved. My family and I are very grateful for her assistance through these difficult times. I highly recommend this place.

Joy was and is a pleasure to work with. She guided us gently through the process without making us feel pushed into anything. She was very patient with us as we made and changed our decisions constantly. I am still working with her four years after my father's passing. We were unable to afford everything at once. We had a payment plan on the plot and on the grave marker. Now we are just beginning to start the process of designing it. It's been a long and slow process. But in a weird and nice way, I'm happy that it was. It's as if I'm still helping my family with my dad's passing. It's almost as if we don't want to end the process, because it will be "done".

Staff and owner of the business waited until they were in contact with me before cremating my father in 2016. The ordeal I went through with family was unbearable, but staff helped me get through it. I will forever appreciate their patience and integrity.

Blanca was very personable, honest and listened to our needs. Very knowledgeable, professional but down to earth. Would recommend her.

I wanted to thank Oak Memorial park, but specifically Joy! My moms passing was the hardest thing and is still very hard for me and my family and not having something ready , or prepared was super hard , but I just want to thank Joy because she helped us so much! and made this hard situation lighter on us I can’t thank her enough I believe God directed us to her!!! She is so caring and helpful we will be definitely using Oak Memorial Park for my whole family for when that time comes.

Just wanted to say thank you to Joy and Rachel they are awesome! When you lose a loved one it’s so hard and they checked on me often! I really appreciate you both so so much! I was out of state and they made the process so smooth until I arrived!

This is a beautiful Cemetery. The grounds are very well-kept.The staff is a genuinely caring. Joy has been wonderful and extremely helpful.

You can tell that the new management really cares about the grounds here. Such an improvement over the past year or so. Keep up the good work! It doesn’t go unnoticed!
