Bootleggers Craft Pub & Eatery

So, this place is phenomenal. My husband and I recently moved to Bakersfield and decided that we wanted to explore the local eats.

As soon as we sat down our waiter, Thomas, cheerfully greeted us and asked us where we were from. Finding out we had just moved here, he quickly told us all about the city and gave us a bunch of suggestions for food, drinks, and culture. His service was phenomenal, and really made us feel welcome in our new home.

I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. On top of world-class service, the food was amazing and the drinks were a dangerous blend of tasty and powerful. Our visit here really set the mood for the whole night. We will definitely be back soon!

I tried one of their lunch specials: chicken sandwich. The batter was flavorful and crisp & chicken was juicy. I had a salad as my side with ranch. The veggies were cold and crisp & the ranch very good. Not all ranch dressings taste the same (IYKYK). I was able to sneak in a fry or two from my husband plate and also great. Fry was skinny, crips & well seasoned. I'm interested in going back to try some other things.

Great happy hour prices on food. The service was impeccable, and they have a great selection of food. Everything we ate was amazing. I had the Bacon, Avacado Chicken Sandwich and my son built his own burger with Angus beed. DELICIOUS!

In town for business and found Bootleggers from online reviews. Christian was my bartender and couldn’t have been more friendly! It was a really great experience and the food was great. Try the fried asparagus and the Korean tacos for sure! The gold rush is a great cocktail as well!

The Tri Tip salad was out of this world.
Tried a side of Tatcho’s( tatter tot nachos) just wow.. The craft beers were great and cold. Berry margarita were superb

The food is delicious, the beer cheese sauce is incredible and the dessert must be enjoyed. I visited Bootleggers three times while I was in Bakersfield, CA and I was never disappointed.

The burgers are the best in town. Please try the potato wedges and garlic fries too.

I really enjoyed our late lunch at bootleggers. The food and staff were excellent. I was in town visiting from Sacramento and will visit again when I’m in town. I loved the fried asparagus and the asada tacos with garlic tots. I will tried the fried pickles next time for sure! 🖤❤🖤❤

Great beers and food and service! We stopped here on our way back from LA (to Fresno) on a busy holiday weekend. We were greeted as soon as we walked in (self-seating). We sat at the bar and had a great late lunch and a few beers. I like that they have a great selection of craft and domestic beers on tap. The menu had a lot to choose from, I had the cheesey pulled pork tacos-delicious, juicy, just the right amount of spice. I'd definitely stop here again, easy to find off the 99.

This place has got to be one of the best bar and grill in town. The aesthetic of This place is very pub like and refreshing. The service is amazing and the food is better than any other pub and grill. They have a large variety of alcoholic drinks to choose from and they support local brewers. The food is 100% something you would see on a cooking show. From the dishes i have tried, they are full of flavor, savory, delicious, and the presentation of each plate is simply extraordinary. I recomend This place whether you're wanting to hangout with friends or bring the family. Mondays and Wednesdays kids eat free which is great because you'll save an extra buck on the kids.

I had a great experience here! Beer was good, the food was excellent and the staff was very happy in what they do. That is always a plus. The salsa for the tacos was amazing. I would like it to be a little hotter but it is probably perfect for most...

I've always loved this place but Uber respect for them for having this table in honor of the 13 fallen in Afghanistan! This is Bakersfield, but I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere... Place is always great for some rotating craft brews and used to be a die hard fan of the Shock Top battered Fish Tacos, BUT that was until I tried the Korean Tacos! Those things are insanely good and addictive!!

Great staff and service! Food delicious.. mashed potatoes were very cold but still yummy I didn't complain I'm not a complainer lol HILLBILLY PUNCH is a Must try!

I went on a Sunday and enjoyed their beer sampler a lot. The food is on point too. I had the macaroni and cheese grilled cheese and my friend had nachos and both were amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Brilliant sit down dinner for something a bit better than the fast food outlets around. Great selection of beers. Amazing Mac & Cheese burger!!! Worth having! Friendly service and speedy considering it was fairly busy when we arrived.

I stopped in there for a quickie.
A drink worth my girl, and a quick bite to eat. Never been here before. Happened to stop in during happy hour. Had a couple drinks with "very decent prices" and about 10 tacos between me and mine..... the price tag was very acceptable "not expensive" as well as the waiter being very nice and prompt. Definitely be coming back

I make great ribs so I usually regret ordering ribs at a restaurant but not this time. Ribs were perfect. BBQ sauce could have been better with flavor options. Maybe some more spicy. Good thing the ribs really didn't need any extra sauce. They were great as they were served. Service was friendly. Price was not bad. Atmosphere was good. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
