Food was absolutely delicious. Breanna our server was excellent. Beautiful inside. Only issue is noise. If you have sensory issues might want to avoid during lunch and dinner rush.

This was our first time at the new location, and it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is way better than the previous location. The food was really good, as always. The wait time is my only down side so I would recommend calling ahead.

This was my first time back to Frugatti’s in over 9 years or so. And I have to say I was very impressed. First off I will start with the parking lot. There is plenty of space and design is set up with plenty of lighting for lower light settings. My first glance at the new building is the size compared to the last location. I love the color scheme and painted portraits on the outside.

As you get ready to enter the building you are greeted by this beautiful covered seating encloser as you walk through two iron gates. As I walked in the ceiling was my main focal point because it's the center point for the whole environment around it. It complements the pictures and portraits as well the beautifully crafted grape vine iron work. I was really taken back at the craftsmanship and precise skill put into this place.

Ok, now to the food I ordered the Top Sirloin steak medium with asparagus, mashed potatoes and minestrone soup. The soup was sufficient for the portion size, the flavor was mild but in a very good way. The tomatoes provided a complementary acidic flavor settled by the beans and pasta. One thing I would change with the soup is eliminate the added cheese and croutons.

I will cover the asparagus and mashed potatoes. Of course you can mess up vegetables but Frugattis definitely hit the spot of perfection on this with both side. The asparagus was fresh, delightfully crunchy, with a sweet n tart flavor. The mashed potatoes were not overly dense and seasoned perfectly. I like how they kept the skins to the Red potatoes in the mash, this added additional texture.

The Top Sirloin Steak!! Hmm where to start with this? I could easily just say perfect 💯 but I'm not that kind of reviewer. The steak had a nice garlic sear to the outside with a beautiful butter drizzle to enhance the garlic. The cut was full, juicy and moist the the feel. The steak knife cut with ease and the Red meat fibers glowed and oozed juice Mmmm. I did not add any additional seasoning to the steak as it was not needed. The texture was mere perfection as it just melted like butter with every bite. Before I knew it the steak was fully consumed.

I want to thank the Frugattis team for making our Anniversary lunch well worth it.

Wow, the new restaurant is very elegant. The food is so yummy and the staff service is excellent. I will admit I do miss some of the wall props of the little Italian village.

We went to Frugattis for out 15th wedding anniversary. food was absolutely delicious!! Server was amazing and very pleasant. We even g9t a slice of lemon ricotta cheese cake ro take home!! We will be returning!!

MAKE A RESERVATION!!! If not then you'll for sure have a very long wait. Super popular, large spacious, despite having a full house service was spot on. My pasta needed salt but my finances was absolutely perfect, rather something be under salted than over. Also got wine and he got a mule and for dessert tramisu , chefs kiss.

Love the new restaurant.

Staff: The staff was awesome. Our server was attentive, and it was a busy night.

Drinks: House Cab is good, worth trying. Old fashion was too sweet, maybe a bit extra pour of the simple syrup.

Food: Minestrone soup was very tasty. We all had that.

My husband had the chicken picata and shared a piece with me, and it was delicious. Mashed potatoes were so creamy. We all had them.

My mom had the NY Steak, and it was cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were part of the meal.

I had the salmon, with mash potatoes and asparagus. The salmon was a bit overdone, so it was not my favorite. The rest of the dish was delicious. I still gave them 5 stars. I am chalking it to the chef, having an off night with fish. 😊

For dessert, we ordered the carrot cake and lemon cheesecake to share. Both were amazing, but if you can only have one, order the lemon cheesecake. You will not regret it.

Note: All portion sizes were large. You will definitely have some left over to take home.

Overall, it is a must to visit. Next time, we'll try the pasta.

We were there a couple of weeks ago. Settled by seating at the bar since it was so busy, and that was the best decision we could have made. Andrew is the man!!! We had excellent service, he was very kind, personable and knowledgeable of everything and anything in this field. He recommended my gf (very picky eater) different plates, and the one of choice was dead on.

Please give Andrew a raise! We look forward to stopping by again. Seating by the bar will be our table of choice. Thanks for the great service.

Great Italian food. Went for daughters birthday, my steak, fettuccine and taters were good, we also got spinach manicotti, papo pasta 😋 very good looking forward to next visit to try something else. Great job frugattis thanks for the great memories... I recommend the raspberry cheesecake dessert...

We went with family while visiting Bakersfield, ca and the whole experience was top-notch great the food was top-notch Italian, and it will be a place we will return to and recommend.

If you're into Italian food and want it to taste like heaven, look no further! Whether it's a date night, celebration, or maybe a "treat yo self" moment - Frugatti's is the place to be for sure! My personal favorite dish is the lobster stuffed ravioli paired with their white sangria 🤤

Everything is nice here! The must visit restaurant in Bakersfield. No doubt! Although the parking lots might be full.

We had a large party for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was pretty good. It could be excellent. The food was wonderful. It did take about an hour and 15 minutes to get our food, but again we had a large party. Strange but the chicken bite appetizers were very good.

Great atmosphere. Large new facility. Delicious food. I had "Nonni's" pasta dish it was $21 there was a lot of pasta but it did not include salad or vegetables. My husband ordered from their Fitness menu. Absolutely delicious chicken breast that also included vegetables and potatoes. His was $19. Then, of course, had to have a slice of lemon cheesecake. It was not a very large slice of Cheesecake but it was delicious. I would definitely go here again.

It’s been years since I’ve been to Frugattis and apparently I forgot how much I LOVE the food!!! Let’s start with the bread…. Well all I can say is you will need to control yourself so you will have room for your entree! I ordered the spicy chicken Linguini from the fitness menu. Wow! This dish will have me coming back! It’s packed with flavor! Lots of tender chicken, noodles cooked perfectly bathed in a light oil and tomato sauce served with Asparagus.

Update : new review, new location, custom built building, beautiful inside, busy as heck. Food is wonderful. I'm currently sitting in a gorgeous patio-like part of the perimeter called the "terraza", on the side next to Coffee Rd. It is inside (not an extension), but it is bright and airy, comfortable temperature, and no traffic noise intrudes. There was a wait, as is typical of new restaurants in Bakersfield, but so worth it. Funnily enough, one of the big complaints about the original location was difficulty parking. Well, the new parking lot is not finished, so, there's a little nostalgia for you. Come give it a try.

Amazing food!! Alittle packed, but the food is worth the wait!! This place hasn't changed in over 20 years.. so glad I got a chance to come back.

Service, food, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Every order could easily feed 2, and it was crazy delicious. My waitress mentioned an Italian beer they had, and it was great. I'll be back soon
