I seriously love this place. Debb our waitress was soo sweet and gave us such amazing service. I never have bad service when we go here and the food is so delicious. All the waitresses here were good. Food portion is huge too

We got here about 20 minutes before they closed. We were worried about getting there so close to closing. Everyone was so nice and just awesome to us. No one rushed us. They said stay as long as you need to. The portion size is large and price is good. Debb was our server. Super sweet! Everyone there was great! Food was really good!

I really do like this place. We don't come often, but have visited for years. Sat quickly, offered drinks right away, food was good, & portions are overwhelming (in a good way)!! I had the country fried steak with eggs/hash browns/ biscuits & my friend ordered the club sandwich with fries. Both of our plates were more than enough food for TWO significant portions each, so you definitely get your money's worth. We paid ~$46 (tip included) for the two meals + coffee.

1/7/2023- Visited today with two close friends! ~$60 for the three of us. Not busy at all 8:20 on a Sat morning. For some, $20/person may seem like a bit for a breakfast place, but each of us got like 2 meals out of each of our plates! I loved my Debb's omelette! Additionally, we only meet up for Girls Time about once a month, but haven't dined-out in over a year for breakfast, so we ended up being there for almost 4 hours! Time just flew by & we felt bad once the place got busy, but they were so sweet & hospitable to us the whole time!! I appreciate them for it because we don't get out much!

Good old good food!! Wish Sylvia's could open a restaurant in Martinez, or on this side of the hills! Martinez has gotten so Walnut Creek Want a be with fancy hamburgers and hotdogs! We need a down home restaurant bad!!@

Went to Sylvia's for the first time to have breakfast for Father's day and it was really good! Great place to go for breakfast and lunch. They serve big portions and everything is delicious. I got the lumberjack plate. It comes with two eggs, four bacon, country potatoes(extra charge) and four pancakes! I will definitely come back again to eat at Sylvia's.

Wow, what can I say? Sylvia's was wonderful, my first time there and it was really lovely. It has a very homey atmosphere, from the paper menus to the soft murmers or people talking. The waitstaff are so friendly and helpful, really the sweetest people!

Now the food. I cannot praise enough! We tried the German potato soup, which was super creamy and thick (thick enough that I could use a fork!) With bits of potatoes and you can really taste the smoky bacon flavor.
The dishes are huge (at least for me) and well worth the price. I got the chorizo omelet and had to take it home!
The fries and tuna melt were excellent as well. The fries super crisp but still soft inside and the tuna melt not greasy!

All in all. A wonderful spot to eat!

I love breakfast foods any time of day or night and Sylvia's is the hot-spot for me. My food is always fresh, hot and enough for breakfast the next morning. But many come here jyst for the service. This team is a well tended machine.
Do again, ABSOLUTELY!

Stopped by Sylvia's randomly while charging my car. The decor was like walking into my grandma's house when I was a kid and I immediately knew whatever I ordered was gonna be delicious, and the wait staff was going to be friendly and attentive. I ordered chicken enchiladas and all I can say is it was perfect. I will now be be making my way to Sylvia's from San Francisco as often as possible

First time here. Great food. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Great service. Thanks to our waitress Cleo. My new Saturday morning spot.

Delicious food, lovely workers checking to see if everything is okay, if you want more coffee. Inside is a little to dark but very cosy.

Great down home Diner appeal. Best Hollandaise sauce for their benedicts. Highly recommend. Had a crab benedict with avocado. Top notch!

The portions are awesome, took my meal home to have 2nd breakfast.

Had breakfast many times here. So I decided to have lunch. Had a French dip sandwich, tasted great but it was really light on the meat. I am going to stay with breakfast.

We had a great breakfast. The amount of food was too much. Neither of us could finish it. The service was very good & very friendly.

Big fan of Sylvia’s. Always a delicious and filling meal. Great prices too. Try their omelets or pancakes. Oatmeal is always a great choice too. Very friendly servers too.

Great food. 2 to 3 people can share a plate. Large portions. Staff are very nice, happy and very helpful.

Sylvias has been a family favorite of ours forever. Consistently good food and service. The biscuits and gravy are the best around. The plates are big so bring your appetite! Not much else to sat except that I do eat there around 4 times a month. It's my most visited resteraunt period.

Had lunch with my friend and her sister. Very good. Could not eat it all

The breakfast muffin quality has diminished from what I used to enjoy. Everything else is still GREAT!!!
