Nice open atmosphere, well spaced out tables, interesting decor, and a semi-circular counter give this cafe a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The locals are pretty laid back
First time I came here, I had the tuna on foccacia bread, and man, was that tasty! The owner seems to be quite a chef! Today I ordered the #8 roast beef sandwich, and my mouth is watering, just waiting to taste it!

I know this review sounds unrealistically complimentary, but I honestly love coming here. And I usually only leave bad reviews, so for balance, it's high time I started giving praise where it's due! Great place, great food!

I walked in and the proprietor immediately took my order, called me honey and directed her staff to ring me up. I ordered the special soup (rice and vegetables) and was blown away by the flavor. Don't expect to be sampling a can of Campbell's Soup, this veggie soup is fire🔥!!! Full of basil, parsley, cilantro. What a gem of a place. Exactly what I hoped for when I spotted it from the road. Give it a try.

Wow. My husband & I were blown away by how warm & inviting this place is. It definitely feels like having breakfast in your own home. Our breakfast croissants were fabulous, the coffee was great, and the orange juice fresh squeezed. Thank you so much for a really awesome experience this morning. We'll absolutely be back.

My new favorite place to eat!! Its 5 minutes from home, the food is organic, the owner is always pleasant. Great atmosphere. The Mediterranean veggie & falafel are excellent. I feel at home here. Thanks to a friend that frequents Aky's I would have continued to pass this wonderful small piece of perfection up.

Great Mediterranean food, every dish I have tried has been delicious never dissatisfied. They are wonderful people in a nice artsy atmosphere, always a great choice for breakfast and lunch. They pride themselves on the food they serve using almost all organic ingredients. Even the treats are all homemade and yummy. And the dinner they serve each month is amazing and features live music, sure to please.

This is a family owned place if I had to guess. It's a quaint and comfortable spot and it feels like you just walked into your aunt's kitchen. They're loving and sweet and they make you feel so at home. Breakfast was excellent. We had the bacon and egg croissant. It was served with some of the most robust and flavorful breakfast potatoes I've ever eaten. It was a quickly prepared meal, so if you're in a hurry don't hesitate to stop in. The menu for lunch and dinner looks incredible and I can't wait to get back and try it!

We stopped in for lunch en route to a business meeting nearby and enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. I had the special BBQ ham sandwich, which had a mild, pleasant BBQ flavor and was served on nice, fresh bread. The woman at the counter was exuberantly friendly and welcoming.

Owner/lady was super friendly, kind and energetic! Total delight, not to mention fast. Before I even had a chance to look around at all the other cool stuff she had in her cafe/shop, she was done putting together two orders of corner beef and cabbage, etc. that was bangin! Totally a hidden local gem, well worth the time to go check out...

Absolutely delicious, home-cooked food, delightful owners, and a cozy atmosphere. My brother, who works in the area, was so excited to show us his favorite restaurant to go to for lunch while we were visiting and have us meet Aky. The veggie sandwich was SO GOOD - it's easy to tell that Aky loves what she makes. Next time we're back in California, we'll definitely be back!

Basically everything is homemade, run by a Greek Persian couple the food is well spiced but not overly so, nor hot. Specials are usually excellent, and Aky is a wonderful human being. Good good, only complaint is she closes around 230pm. Otherwise highly recommend it.

Locally run cafe with good food & a positive attitude. 😎 there is often locals playing games at a big table. Good coffee, breakfast & lunches. Especially enjoy the Greek Salad topped with chicken breast. Because they also have a few outside tables we can meet up for lunch with a friend who walks her dog over. Brother-in-law can find vegetarian items easily. Only downside is they aren’t open on the weekends.

One of our FAVORITE places and Rosie loves it too. Delicious food for all tastes. My GF eats plant based only and there are always options for both of use. 5 stars from us and 4 paws and a tail wag from Rosie for this terrific place

If being called “sweetie” or “honey” bothers you, then avoid this place. Everyone else: If you’re in Point Richmond then give this place a try! Excellent specials, especially the roasted chicken and vegetables. Greek salad was great and there are plenty of cookies to choose from, too.

We've driven by Aky's many times and said "Why haven't we ever gone there?" After our visit, we'll be back. Very good food, tending towards Mediterranean, in a throw back, almost hippie 60's cafe setting. It gets crowded at lunchtime as the folks who work at the Chevron Refinery begin to walk over. So time your meal before or after the rush because they don't have a huge staff.

So this may be my favorite place of any type to visit. Aky is amazing and genuine. If you are all bout lines, order and things perfect we’ll this isn’t for you. If you love feeling genuinely cared about and how your food is and it tasting healthy and great at reasonable prices then your in luck !!

We walked here from the Hotel Mac in downtown Point Richmond; being in a tiny walkable downtown is itself a rare pleasure. The moment Aky unlocked the door at 8:00 AM we felt we had arrived at a friend's home. Our breakfasts were fairly conventional - bagel and lox [with a small green salad- sort of a garnish, very good] and quiche Lorraine. Best though was the proprietors' conversation. I would not hesitate to recommend this un-stuffy cafe for breakfast .

Nice, clean, wanna come back environment. The food is fresh, wonderfully prepared. I have never left there hungry, Aky is very friendly and makes me feel singled out and special every time I go there.

Very good breakfast food croissants and eggs and potatoes absolutely cooked perfect very large size for the $8 price. Small and quaint very romantic if you want it to be and tucked away in the Tiny Town of Point Richmond where it's just a half a block walk to a beautiful view of the Bay

I love this place, her cookies are addictive! Can't go wrong with the sandwiches. The owner is super nice and always greatful for the business. Do yourself a favor and stop by for one of their specials and a thumbprint cookie.

Cozy, family operated. Free wifi. This is a great place to hold a small business meeting over breakfast.

During the week, this is strictly a breakfast and lunch shop, closing at 3. Not open on weekends.

A prix fixe (fixed price) dinner is served on the last Saturday of the month. Bring your own wine. (No corkage fee.) Seat yourself, but come early for the best choice in seating.

Ask Aky to be put on the mailing list so you'll get notification of the monthly dinner menu, time, and price. She also puts a poster up in the window a week before the dinner with the details. There's generally a selection of 4 main courses, but sometimes it's a buffet.
