Sawaddee Thai Cuisine

My husband and I are new to the area and I was craving Thai cuisine. Found this little gem using Google Maps and it’s the best discovery I’ve stumbled upon. You can tell that the establishment is family owned and that the food is authentic Thai cuisine. Both my husband and I were so blown away with the amount of flavor bursting from each dish we ordered. We ordered tofu Tom yum soup, tofu pad see ew, fish cakes, angel wings (tofu version), and sticky rice with mangoes for dessert. The customer service was great, the cook even came out and was conversing with my husband who sent high praises to her for the fish cakes (they were so good, we went home and attempted to replicate the fish cakes). Highly recommend this little hole in the wall mom & pop shop if you’re craving authentic Thai cuisine.

Very tasty Thai food. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, pad kee mao, panang curry and basil seafood fry. Panang curry and pad kee mao were perfect and tasted very authentic. We requested Tom yum soup to be spicy and it was just right. We all loved the food . The person behind the counter who also served the food, was very polite and friendly. She was very accommodating and made sure all of us were satisfied with the food. Truly recommend this Thai food joint. Sharing some of our pics we took 😊

Sawaddee serves excellent authentic food. Everything tastes fresh and the service is great. I tweaked my order and asked for something different and with no hesitation they made it happen. I really enjoyed the food, the service and the energy in this place. I've already gone twice in a week!

Tbh there really good I live the desserts I live the food there so nice and they accommodate you with what ever best Thai food

The food here was great, my wife and I loved it. We enjoyed their curries and their fried fish. The spicy angel wings are an appetizer and the wings were sweet and savory. Thai tea was good.

Love Sawaddee Thai! Owners are super nice and always make delicious food. This is my go-to place for Thai Food, and often stop off here on my way home. Great for dining in or take out. Extensive Thai Menu.

the food is great but they close AT DINNER TIME so literally every single time I want to eat there, it is too late.
EDIT: made this a go-to for lunch and it gets 5 stars now. opens at 11, so it's perfect.

We ordered take out since that is the only option available these days due to pandemic. We placed the order over phone as mentioned the order was ready in 20 mins. They follow Covid protocols, Mask is mandatory, they will bring the order to the door.
We ordered Green Curry, Pad Ke Mao and rice. Green curry was very tasty. Pad ke mao needed some more flavor, not sure since we ordered Vegan, may be some sauce was missing. With hot sauce it tasted good.

I like eating there because I can found meals that are healthy and low in sodium. I like the yellow curry chicken.
The staff is very nice.

Honestly, this place is a hidden gem! Antioch has never been a place I particularly like to dine in. When visiting the bay area I usually am going to restaurants further out near concord or even SF. However, Antioch has been hiding this place for a long time. everything tastes great and is amazingly flavorful!

My first time here. I had high expectations after reading previous reviews, and they met my expectations! Great service. The curry was unbelievably tasty. Even the tea was delicious.

Love This is a small family restaurant, with great tasting food. you won't be let down, try the pineapple fried rice👍 I'd try something different every time
Never have had anything bad or that I didn't like. You can also ask the wife or husband to make things for you. they will change any dish or suggest something depending on meets or seasonings you really like, they will make to your order or whatever you want or more, or less of..Very kool! It is a daughter mother and father working and They are very nice humble people. Never too packed, private and dimlet atmosphere nice quiet. Really one of antioch's best kept secrets in cuisine. Stick to one or a couple plates, it can get pricey and add up quick. Parking lot and area are kind of shady.

We ordered pad see ew, red curry, and tom kha soup - all delicious! On top of that, very friendly service. Will be back!

It was my first time ordering from them and I must say that the food was great! I don’t know how I’ve lived in this city so long and somehow missed this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is great. Food was delicious, didn't take forever to be served. I was very impressed with the customer service, waitress was attentive, nice and seemed like she cared about our experience at the restaurant.

Great food and friendly staff. The Pad Thai is amazing and so is the spicy basil seafood! Well worth checking this place out.

I´ve been eatting here for more then 10 years. Always great food and they make me feel like I'm at home when i come in. It's my daughter favorite spot always asking for the shrimp chip. 💜😄😀

I love this place! The food is amazing always fresh and flavorful. Its a lil hole in the wall kinda place that you prob wuldnt even notice. You have to overlook the homeless people lurking around tho.Very calm and relaxed environment (Inside).I've gone to other thai food resturants in nicer areas and they dont even touch this place
