The Salvation Army Bakersfield Corps Community Center

I started getting groceries for myself at the Salvation Army on Wednesdays once a month. What I acquire I use to supplement my homeless ministry. The group of volunteers are truly loving Christians and they really do care. The food ministry not only provides food, but also prayer support. I have also been able to acquire both Spanish and English Bibles from SA on occasion. I am grateful to Jesus for the Salvation Army ... for its devotion to Jesus and its service to the community and the homeless. God bless the Salvation Army!

Great staff don't go there often but when I do they are always there to help. 10/10 if you need anything they got you

Free food every 30 days. Lizette helped out with the rental assistance last year. Good vibes.

I attended the Salvation Army on Grand River in Detroit and because I am from the suburbs I will admit that I was a little skeptical. But once I got inside the store was extremely clean and smell good and not like old moldy clothing. The manager was super nice and very helpful as well as the staff as I would advise anyone to go check out their large items such as dining room tables sofas chairs Etc because a lot of their things are brand new and were donated by Major furniture stores. Kudos to the manager for the Salvation Army store that's located on Grand River.

We've been a part of the core for years and our kids LOVE it as do my wife and I. The people are awesome and the CAPTAIN'S to the ones in the office and the ones that help with food and everything else are heaven sent! 100% couldn't live without them. From my mouth to your ears...

Great place to get food.. just be greatful for what you get. Everyone gets different stuff. The basic needs.. they offer help with finances and is a great place to worship.. Mon- Friday except for Tuesday's for food.. they get there food on Tuesdays so it's hectic.. Eloina is great with the pantry!! She really cares about about all people's needs.. She is a beautiful spirit..

The Salvation Army has a nice senior lunch program with bingo. They also are very helpful to those in need. They can help with groceries once a month and electric bills.

SERVICES AND WOMEN MEET ON TUESDAY AT 10 AM LUNCH 2ND AND 4TH TUESDAY FOR $1.00 AND THE PLAY BINGO FOR FREE PEOPLE THERE ARE VERY NICE COME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
