Beach Park

Went for a morning bike ride. Nice quiet park. There is a well maintained, graffiti free skate park. Restrooms were closed, im guessing, due to the homeless people roaming around.

I'm rating only for the skate park we did not enjoy the park area because of the homeless that were lurking around. I took my twin 7 year old boys with their scooters and even though some of the drops are to advance for them. They had so much fun on some of the other skate park drop ins. I would say that the skate park itself is not as slick as some others we have been too which made it better for beginners like my boys. Overall extremely satisfied with the skatepark. We also went when it was not super busy it's definitely a teenage/older crowd. We didn't want to worry about to much cross traffic so we went when it's less busy.

Love Beach Park: I take my tiny cream Pomeranian puppy dog "Biddy" here offen,. Just to stretch her legs, she loves 💕 too run around chasing squirrel's. It is so funny; because; when she catches up with them they are in the holes,

My boys love coming here to skate bike and scooter my youngest daughter loves chasing the squirrels and my oldest daughter likes to walk on the path and in the riverbed.

Nice place along the Kern river, which actually has just a little water in it right now.

I went to beach park to soak my feet in the river with my sister. The water is very cold. I was born and have lived in Bakersfield most of my life. Beach park is great. My suggestion as far as the Kern River goes I do not believe there is any safe area to swim. Please be safe.

This park has been around for years and now to me it's a nice place to sit around and enjoy the busy street or go read a good book or have lunch with a friend even read the wall it's very nice.

Great place to visit....clean restrooms and plenty of shade...

Quiet , lovely place to rest, walk, read, enjoy nature.

The park is clean and kid friendly. My 2yr old grandbaby had a blast

Nice park. Well kept. For the location that it's at you do see some homeless but they don't bother and it seems to always be the same ones so you get to know each other through passing. And the animals are cute. They just wait for food to get tossed there way. Cute for picnics. After the Covid is lifted that is. Don't go out thinking just cause it's cute you got to go. No! Stay home

Playground, bathrooms, skatepark, next to the bike trail, spacious field, baseball field. Bathrooms are kinda dirty, bring your own soap. Overall it's amazing fun place for grown ups and kids. Has tables and BBQ's too.

I drive pass beach park and view beach outside. I went there when I was at deaf event and homeless. Good safe place to hide as a homeless. Good security and park security including private security to check up on beach park as long as kids are safe to play around. Good place to watch many people come there playing soccer and playing softball/baseball.
