A wonderful walk any time of the year. There is a wide variety of trails so it can get a little confusing knowing for sure which one you are on. Having the paper map in hand helps. The large trees are awesome to look at.

I hiked the short Indian Pipe Trail. It’s uphill most of the way. In early May, trail was mostly dry with a few muddy spots that were easy to get around.

Nice walk in the trees. Not super long, some hills, maps on site.

A good place to hike and get outside.
If you go there, please help keep it clean and safe.
Very fortunate to have a place like this so close to town.

Talk about a hidden gem right in your backyard! Lived in the area for almost 4 years and never even knew this place was here! My husband and I had the best time exploring! Can't wait to bring the kids and show them!

Lovely hike. A must if you are in the Centralia area. Be aware that most hikers aren't wearing masks and it isn't possible to maintain 6 feet distance while passing each other on a path.

Went here on March 1, the day after record-setting February rain. The trails were obviously muddy but trekking poles kept me from slipping. It was actually partly sunny while I hiked from 11:30 - 1:00. I didn't see any other people until my last 15 minutes. I picked up a trail map at the parking lot and hiked about a half dozen trails, all well-maintained. My favorite was the Ridge Trail with its forest of skinny trees totally covered in moss!

Beautiful local nature preserve! Awesome history here and a great group of folks who maintain it. Easy for short hikes or beginner hikers, including kiddos!

Noah and I took quite a few car rides upto Seminary Hill. It's such a beautiful peaceful serene location. I'm somewhat limited to do very much walking but there's so many trails to hike and explore with some of the prettiest landscape and views in the county. I was really wanting to share one of the last pictures I took of Noah and I up there but so far after searching for quite a while actually I haven't been able to find where it is. I'll tell you this tho, I'm going to find it and when I do posting it right here.. God bless you all, my wishes, hope's and prayers are for a happy, healthy, safe and prosperous journey... wherever you are going. My love, Larry S

It's honestly one of the best spots in all of Chehalis and Centralia, and I almost don't want to say this because I don't want it to become overcrowded but here you go!
Be prepared for fresh air and a good hill climb!

Very well kept, no garbage or messes anywhere. The trails are seemingly kept trimmed and open as well. The view from the top of the hill is amazing, especially when the sun goes down! Great hike/spot

Such a lovely park to hike and sit and be in nature. Lots of choice for routes and length of time to be out. And such great benches! I ran into a man who was, by volunteering, making another bench for the route nearest the top. He found the wood lower down on the trail and was hauling it up to put together as a completed bench for all to use. It was nice to hear how much the park means to people ♡

Beautiful tapestry. The hike is worth the view. It is surreal standing atop that mountain and thinking how everything I could see below me was ocean at one time. There are fossils beneath our feet. Ocean life, fossilized forever. Strange.

There has been recent maintenance to the trail and you can see the trail markers. Fun set of trails that allow you to choose how long your hike is and it's close to downtown Centralia for a cool down afterwards. Feels like a beautiful piece of wilderness tucked into town. Recommended

Really cool walk through second growth Forrest. All of the steeper sections have stairs and accessibility is good. Can be muddy after rains so bring decent boots.
