North Beardsley Park

Great park for kids and adults. Plenty of grass area and great playground for little ones. Love kicking the ball and chasing my girl in park. Activities for kids and teens, little athletes in the making. Get out and play!!!

Safe, roomy area for kids to practice their skateboarding skills

I love taking my daughters to this park. The skate park is amazing, but there should be a place for bikes. All in all it's a great clean park

Great skatepark. O e of the best in town. Nothings changed. Still lit and fun to skate. The regulars are all awesome! Kids are safe, as long they aren't getting in the way! haha

Lots of homeless people depending on the time of year, but honestly even then it's a good place to play with your children especially if you yourself have a childish mind. They maintain the park and there lights shut off at curfew.

Best skate spot in town. It's good for most levels and has shade for flat ground. Bowl is sick, perfect in terms of coping and transition smoothness. The park could flow a little better and imo F-the AstroTurf! If it was all cement it'd have way sicker potential. But still the best in town that I've skated. Fyi, I'm not that good but been skating forever...

Good for walking the dogs cuayet nice park there is the river man lm on mys 60s and still enjoying the go outher is a real adventure recommend it

Not too crowded, would recommend adult supervision. Alot of kids without parents running a muhch but if you are taking your kids the new skate park isn't that bad.. we didn't have a bad experience like alot of others have had. Don't let your kids go alone make it a family outing and if your a parent that does let you (son) hang out (in the park around there) hopefully you check up and see what's really going on.. but if you going to the skate park just stay with your child.. or close by..

This skate park was the city managers best idea yet!! North Beardsley Skate Park is a top notch, very functional way to handle all of life's "ups and downs." (No pun intended!) A deep and wide former community pool graces the center of the park. There are many slides, hills and jumps within the space, and a first rate rail to get jiggy with. No matter what your age or experience level, North Beardsley Skate Park is sure not to disappoint. Bring your family and tell your friends! North Beardsley Skate Park is 5 stars!!!

I love this park I have put in a lot of hours at this park and despite its reputation for being bad it really is a great park don't let the acts of a very few people change how you feel about this park we have to work together to keep this park a nice park and that means we need to hold our brothers or sister's accountable if you see the acting inaporpitly let them know that it is not right but do it in a careing way not a ordering way and if that don't work then find someone who will do that thank you and have fun at this park..

At night it's chill watching the kids scateboard and on their scooters..the adults either sitting on lawn chairs watching or out there hitting the half pikes or ramps however you call them..it's been a longtime for me I was actually out there with a friend and her kids. ...it's really a cool spot.👍

This is a very nice park. Clean, lots of shade. There is a baseball diamond, skate park, covered picnic table area, good size parking area and there are several shops and food joints within walking distance.

can't believe I been here 6 years and this is my 1st visit to this park. great atmosphere. definitely going to make a point to go more often.

I think it is one of the best parks Bakersfield has ! Easter with the Earnshaws and family and friends AND BBQ and sides as far down the table as you can see......not to mention the family feel at this event! You never even hear a swear word during a volleyball game! And...not sorry..but if there were any "homeless" panhandling people hanging around ....THE EARNSHAWS WOULD INVITE THEM TO JOIN US! I've never known such loving caring people! I wish Stacey and I had rejoined this great Bakersfield Speedway family much earlier. Race car drivers are so competitive!
The Earnshaws. ..Bradshaws, Shoemakers, and Im sure many others, were THE reason Bakersfield Speedway was the most exciting place to be on race night!.Its a calling, an addiction in your blood ! Everyone in all our families have racing in our blood! I hope Alex continues to excel in racing and his entire life! He's such a great boy! Stacey is SO lucky to get a good in only one try!...lol

Dirty bad nothing works fields suck and homeless people run this park pretty much.

Local spot by my house everyone first visit was welcoming. Wear your safety gear👍
