El Sushi

Clean interior with great food and service!The owner/ sushi chef was very attentive. His smile made us feel welcomed. I got the sushi combo and wow… I’ve never tried monkfish liver before and it was sooooo good. So creamy and yummy it just melted in my mouth. Definitely recommend this spot!

I had the Crunch roll and a Philly roll. They came with some good miso soup. Both rolls were good but a little on the small side. I tried the Crispy Tuna and it was good too. I also had iced green tea which was good. If your pet peeve is too little ginger this place isn’t like most other places. They give you a container full of it. That’s pretty good. Parking is meter or valet.

Amazing service and food. It’s a cute little place with the cutest older couple who are super attentive and friendly and work really hard to make you amazing sushi! We ordered the sushi combo 3 - the fish quality was incredible - so fresh and flavorful. The sushi burrito my gf got was HUGE and delicious. for appetizers we got the tempura which was some of the highest quality tempura I’ve ever had and the crispy tuna which was soooo tasty. Definitely come here and give the cute local business a try!

OMG, this place is incredible! You must try dragon rolls and lobster rolls. These were not only nice plating but also very delicious! I've never been to a better sushi restaurant in Korea Town than here! All the ingredients were fresh and the service was great!

Our new favorite sushi spot. Everything tasted amazing & fresh. Cream cheese wontons blew our mind. One of the best we ever had. So was the spicy tuna on crispy rice. Though I’d prefer a bit more spicy, but it was perfect for my little daughter. Dynamite scallop roll was good, but too much toppings kinda took the fun away. Baked salmon was simple, but the salmon was tasty & had a great flavor. We ordered a lot since we were hungry, but we finished everything. Everything was that damn good!

Only sushi spot for us from now on

Really good fresh sushi. The sashimi is bomb. Better than the sushi place in my building. I’d rather walk 9 min to get El Sushi instead! The spicy tangy sauce that went on top of my sashimi salad was AMAZING too. I couldn’t get enough of it. So good. I’ll be back.

I placed a to-go order for two of the Sushi Combo #3 and the Blooming Onion roll. The phone service was great and very kind in the restaurant. The presentation for the to-go orders is perfect and thoughtful. The Blooming Onion roll is very creative with crispy fried onion on the side, and the sauce is delicious. I loved the way the mackerel sashimi is cut, with the silver of the fish skin on a diagonal bias. The side salads were very fresh and the miso soup was so flavorful. I wish I took pictures. Next time I go I will add photos 🍣🌞

Nice sushi place that is family run. Chirashi bowl is my favorite. Clean inside. No complaints from me.

By far my favorite sushi restaurant in Koreatown! My girlfriend and I eat here every couple of weeks, and enjoy the same amazing quality of fresh fish each time. We're making our way through the menu, and have yet to be disappointed with anything. The rainbow roll especially is one of the best we've ever had, and we've both worked in sushi restaurants

Hell yea dawg. I love the sushi. Got the spicy tuna roll and it was perfect. Handcrafted to perfection. Very generous portion, too. Staff was attentive and always had a smile on their face. I will always recommend this place.
