Love Animal Medical Group! Taking my dog here for eight years, and last dog for several years also. They take very good care of my "kids". Staff is compassionate, reliable, responsive, honest, and accommodating. They don't try to talk me into expensive surgeries or unnecessary treatments. Highly recommend them for good care and value.

I love AMG - they are the best vet I have ever had for my animals. They took care of my Australian Shepherd for 13 years and now care for my two cats, Casey and Lily. They are compassionate and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend them.

I have three dogs and have COUNTLESS vets, over the years. I've never had more kind, loving, attentive service, than I get at Animal Medical and Dental. One of my dogs had to have surgery and Dr. Krieger did a genius job. I will always go to this vet!

Dr. Koester at Animal Medical is the best. She helped my pup, Deacon, and I through a scary period of acute pancreatitis and all the follow-ups needed to get him healthy again. The entire staff is kind and supportive. And most importantly, Deacon loves his medical family. Thanks!

The staff is very nice and helpful. Dr. Koester is a GREAT VET!! She listens and goes out of her way to help you and makes sure that your pet is well taken care of. My Kalani had major surgery for dental and it was hard for me to give her medication, Dr. Koester offer me to bring her in and they can give it to her. I never had a very caring vet do that for me. Dr. Koester really loves animals and devoted to them. I can say I never ever liked some vet because it seems like they really don't care about the animals, just what they can make. I Know AMDG and everyone working there are so wonderful and caring. I would recommend this place to everyone!! I GIVE THE STAFF AND DR.'S PROPS FOR THE GREAT JOB THAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! NUMBER 1 PLACE!!! THANKS EVERYONE AT AMDG!!!

My very active Australian Shepherd has been seen by all the vets at AMG for a variety of weekend warrior incidents. I can't say enough about the outstanding care, compassion and follow up by everyone who works there.

Dr. David Nielsen is a great doggie dentist ... saved a damaged tooth on my two year old Doberman. Office staff and back office staff are great - take good care of human and animal.

This is my first appointment and I'll keep my reviews updated.

I've been to plenty of vets and no one can figure out whats wrong with my Lhasa Apso and of course we went under diagnostics since it's our first time here. They had results within the hour and had solutions asap. Everything is really clear and they make it easy to understand. I feel like they actually care and that's me talking with my trust issues.

As for price: $59 for an exam (1st is free) and $29 for a returning exam on the same matters. My dog has chronic skin and ear conditions and the payments I made in total for two week medication, fleas, ear cleaning, ear ointment, and other things that were extremely necessary came out to be $372 which I was ensured would decrease over time since some of the things I listed were only one time payments/actions. They only made me pay for what I needed, unlike other Vets adding in a bunch of medications and shampoos they "think" will help. This one recommended everything as well but told me every detail and reason for why I should and shouldn't get it. It was 100% up to me and there was no guilt tripping or money snatching involved. Makes me wish I spent my $2,000 here instead of other vets I've been too.

I called at 11am and they told me they had an open same day appointment spot at 1pm. I came at 12:56pm and was met right away. Filled out a form and waited less than 15 minutes to see a doctor. Everything went by really quick and we were out of the place with all her medication and knowledge of her conditions within the next two hours. Extremely impressed they have the technology unlike other hospitals.

Complete 5/5 experience!

We've always been so happy with the staff and the doctors at AMG. They treat us like family and they are so loving and compassionate with our dogs. That is why I was surprised and saddened to see that some of our favorite people have left. Fortunately, Dr. Koester and Dr. Krieger are still there and hopefully, with these new management changes, AMG will be able to maintain it's family atmosphere.

Yesterday, the 21st, my mom and I were on our way to the Target in Manhattan Beach when we were witness to an act of animal cruelty. As we approached the Target driveway entrance, we saw two girls waiting to illegally cross Sepulveda Blvd when one of the girls decided to pull her Yorkie up by the leash instead of bending down to pick him up. The poor thing was dangling as it took her quite some effort to grab him, because her cup of coffee was just too important to put down. We immediately rolled down the window to yell at her to stop! She callously scoffed, and replied with: “It’s my dog!”, and continued to be ‘smart’ about it! All the while the other girl found the situation comical. I quickly realized they were wearing their work uniforms...which were none other than to the VETS office across the street! So me and my mother decided to turn around and go into Animal Medical and Dental Group (AMG), where we were met with, Christine, the manager. She seemed to not put much thought into the treatment of the Yorkie, because in her words: “oh, that was her dog!”, as if it would make any difference. NO ANIMAL deserves to be treated that way! We had a long conversation with Christine (unable to speak with her superior), and when we asked for the employees name, she would not give it to us! Instead telling my mom to just write down her information! But through good ol’ social media, I found their Vet Tech, CARMEN. Dr. Krieger did call when he came out of surgery, and did seem genuinely upset. He said there would be an investigation, and Carmen would be spoken to! However, I would NEVER feel comfortable taking one of my pets to them for services! If Carmen was comfortable enough to do this to her own dog on a crowded major street, I wouldn’t trust her with my loved one! We are openly sharing this horrible incident not to attack AMG, they very well may be wonderful, loving, and compassionate vets, but to have one of their caregivers who represents their business and beliefs of compassion towards our ‘family members’ treat her own animal like this needs to be shared.
