Super 8 by Wyndham Bakersfield/Central

Much better than the current rating here! They also have nice rooms, the area is absolutely fine, no worries whatsoever. I stayed here in February 2024 and I was satisfied. The rooms are clean and have everything what you need. The lady at the reception was very kind and friendly, thank you!

Late night check-in worked flawless. The room was very spacious and in good condition. Definitely a great bang for the buck. There was also not a lot to be heard from the close highways. Breakfast was included, but I didn't try it due to time constraints.

Quite honestly the room was very pleasant for the price we paid. Everything we expected to work did, the beds were firm but comfy, the ONLY issue we had was the bathroom door was a little wonky but overall it was a great deal!

The rooms are clean there's ample parking space the staff are very generous and very professional it's one the hotels with the least criminal activity. The swimming pool is clean very well maintained that goes for the rest of the building. And it's working distance from shopping plazas.

It's been a long time since I've been back but I got a good deal the room was awesome and everything in there microwave refrigerator coffee air blower just like being at home also I noticed they have security walking through the the motel I knew we were safe👍

Nice rooms clean af !!! Love it here .. quiet and the ladies in the office are nice and polite!! Never had any issues a s I e stayed here a bunch !!! He's the deposit is steep ($200) but I'd rather pay that for the quality of this place ... Everything works and clean af👍👍

Most hotels for cheap are unaproachable and intimidating at times, but this Super 8 has the best staff and a worthwhile handful of desk employees always nice and extremely helpful. The pillows are super soft and fluffy I can always count on a good rest here. And the staff makes you feel safe from violence or other crazy things happening at other hotels. The rooms are not always perfect but they are very appealing and you can count on mostly everything to be working the only down side was a remote one time that wouldn't work and there's no plug ins except for in the bathroom. I recommend anyone on a budget to get this hotel they are very nicely taken care of and always have a door open. This hotel has never let me down yet. :)

Great place friendly staff. Very nice people who work here. The ladies at the counter was very nice and polite even played with our dog. Great rooms very clean place. No loud noise at all. The ice machine was alittle far but overall a very nice place for the night with easy access right to the freeway.

I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were huge. The fridge, microwave, and coffee maker all worked. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great. They offered a variety of things, fruit, toast, cereal, waffles, juices. Theres restaurants, department stores, fast food, book store, movie theaters, just about everything within walking distance. The price was really affordable. I would recommend this hotel.

This was a nice stay. Room was in like new condition and I really like the easy in and easy out access as it was a quick overnight stay. Get the luggage im and out was painless. Would highly recommend.

I arrived at 3am it was cold and I had my 3 year old I was quickly greeted and then ushered to come inside even tho there was a nite window!
The man working was nice and polite and smiled and he wasn't sure if I had paid cuz on his end I hadn't mine I had so he said we could worry about it tomorrow.i would come again and recommend.room was clean and nice.all around good stay for 34+ tax.

It was average but then again I had a smoker room so I guess those dont have any renovation plans like the other non-smoking rooms get. Post covid so no pool open and breakfast served in paper bags for now. But most of their staff was friendly. . . Majority.

The person at front desk last night 1-20-2018 was a very nice person. The room was very clean and nice. Good prices. Rooms also have everything. Including - fridge, microwave, coffee pot, blow dryer. I highly recommend this place. This will be the only place here in Bakersfield that I stay at.

I think this place is great! I paid 52 for the room and it was really clean and i thought well maintained, we checked in after hours and asked to see the room before paying and the desk clerk was awsome she walked us up there and even made sure the tv was working before we went back down. The free wifi and breakfast are well worth the money!

Simple, no-nonsense place, reasonable charges, reasonable breakfast. The shopping center outside is quite a strategic location. Hop on to Bus 21 which keeps coming every half hour, including Sundays and holidays, visit downtown and just roam around the city. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

Building is very well taken care of. Rooms are cleaned well and the beds aren't half bad. The breakfast is a bit limited but the staff is nice

Checked in late night, and was greeted through window for last minute check in. Room was decent and bathroom was clean. Didn't try free breakfast, but surprised by low price.

Love this hotel..pet friendly.. Awesome service and staff!! Its the only hotel i know where the maids ask if you need anything..if you need your room cleaned they wont hesitate to clean it...kid friendly..pool open only by reservation..will definitely come back ..thank you super 8 !!!

Great hotel easy check in quiet stay refreshing swimming pool to swim in over all it was a relaxing stay.
