Ali is the most honest bike shop owner I have ever met and he knows a lot about working on them. He goes above and beyond to make customers happy and I really appreciate how he treats you like family.

I would recommend his shop to anyone who is looking for a mom and pop style place who does great work at very affordable prices.

First time at Hero Boy, and I will absolutely be back! They did a great job on the tune up, I also got new tires and a new tape, very reasonable prices. This is my new favorite bike shop. The owner is incredibly nice and a pleasure to do business with.

The best bike store in all of Hawthorne I've been coming here for 15 years the owner is very honest and trustworthy all the other shops around will take your money and not fix the problem. Unfortunately I learned the hard way.

Hands on & hands down this is the best bike shop in the area based on reasonable prices & friendly staff that's experienced. They mainly repair fixed gear bikes but they have parts for all bikes. They also have parts for skate boards.

There is incredible service here for a really great price! The second you walk through the door you will be treated like an old friend 100% recommend.

Hero boy bike shop is the first bike shop that actually fixed my bike properly and educated me on everything I've been riding bikes my whole life yet I was still able to learn something. My bike is brand new now he quoted me $200 which basically redid my entire bike all new cables brakes chain everything brand new seat brand new brake set one mechanism was broken what she called me ahead of a time to get an okay to fix it before he did told me the price and I said yes please at the end of the day I'm a bike works better than it did ever before and I'm extremely satisfied thank you you're a boy bike shop! I wouldn't take your bike anywhere else.

My husband and I just bought 2 bikes from here and we couldn’t be happier! The owner is super friendly, sweet, and has been in business for over 12 years! Loved the service, bikes are customizable and available for quick pick up, and he also has lots of bike accessories and can order anything you need. Highly recommend!

Literally only had two bike frames and we decided to visit Hero Boy. Ali helped us find all the parts we needed and put them together within three days! Picked up the bikes and they work great! It was very affordable and the services was great! Will definitely be back! Would recommend this local shop to friends and family!

the guy there is really nice and welcoming as soon as you walk into the store, they also have some of the best prices I've ever seen and they make sure that everything works properly before returning the bike to you.

Great experience every time I come here. Feels more like family than anything. Great team and you can definitely trust these mechanics. They will not hustle you out and they support you with anything you need. Very respectful and couldn’t have asked for a better job on my Cinelli. :)

This is a small storefront with a variety of used and some new bikes. A good neighborhood support type shop, that may well become my "go to" store for repair parts for my California bike.

Ali and his mechanic are amazing! These guys have taken care of me through my road bike journey. I have not bought a bike from here yet, I originally got my bike used from letgo. That being said ever since I brought it into their shop last year they have taken care of it every step of the way. From giving me memorable advice to even letting me pay after they fix it (maybe because I'm a long time customer). These guys have a very good knowledge of bike parts and they have EXTREMELY competitive bike part prices compared to all the bike shops that I've been too within about a 7 mile radius and I haven't bothered to try searching further than that.

Hero Boy Bike shop is a leader in prices and service costs. You will find that they have a warming welcoming family-esque environment. Just about every time that I can remember walking in Ali has a warming face welcoming me in every time with "How are you my friend" since day one back in October he has done this. It's honestly tremendous because he has that friendly customer relationship that makes you feel like you're not being pressed to leave quickly and not like you're there for the better of his pockets. That may be subjective, at this point it's honestly the truth because countless times over and over he has been friendly and has been very patient with me as well.

I assure you whomever may be reading this that you will not regret visiting this shop. They have bike locks, headlights, taillights, pedals, gears, chains, brakes, rims, fully kitted high quality bikes, low end affordable bikes and Ali had even showed me his catalog where you can place orders for specific parts for your bike. I actually recently just bought an OnGuard U-lock the 8010 Bulldog std which actually insures my bike if stolen up to $1500. That being said there is high quality here as well as affordable quality. As a road bike owner at 25 years of age who can make the rent and almost make it to pay for all the other bills I do find myself feeling good after making a purchase out of here. I do not have a plethora of bike knowledge but I do challenge biking enthusiasts and experts to visit this shop along with parents who want to get there kids a bike or for someone who has no idea about bikes and is looking to try something new.

For you skateboard enthusiasts there are plenty of deck options here as well and some wheel, bearing, and hardware options also along with more. I haven't really payed too much attention to his skateboard section as I have a longboard now and prefer my road bike over that so my usage hasn't required new wheels or hardware for that board yet. There are baker decks, girl decks, spitfire wheels, abec bearings, redz bearings, just to name some more popular brands.

Needless to say I hope whomever read through this has a good understanding of the shop. I have been coming here for the past 5 months and have gone to other competitors when Ali is not available and have felt ripped off by them knowing I can get a better deal from Ali and knowing I have gotten a better one but need a quick fix/part because Ali might be out at lunch and I need to go to work.

Reasonable and affordable pricing The guy is super cool and helpful really nice person. Won't rio you off like other bike shops in the South Bay

Hey, to the owner of this business, I’m not sure if I’m allowed back but you remember me back in 2015 when I was in your shop trying to get a skateboard and you told me to leave your shop or the cops would be called on me for trespassing? I would like to continue doing business with you if you don’t mind.
