Lakeside Golf Course

Great golf course! Not too difficult, some water hazards throughout the whole course, Lots of trees lining the holes, open fairways but they are pretty narrow. Very walkable if that’s desired. Pace of play was okay for a Sunday. They have practice greens and a range. Solid course. 👍

Played all 18 in February. Was a little wet because it rained all morning but that didn’t stop me. Great day golfing in a local favorite course. I Have a blast every time I play here.

I really enjoyed playing the best round of my life here. I’ve never played at 4200 feet before. I had to club down on every hole. The course is well maintained. The greens are small, making them a challenge.

Great service at the desk from Hunter. He is always so helpful. Consider this my home course for 33 years now.

Such a lovely course! Beautiful trees and great condition facilities.

Very fun course to play. Very playable for the casual golfer. We played with our 2 young teenage grandkids. We played from the upper green tees and were able to keep pace with the group ahead. The staff in the pro shop very pleasant and accommodating. The course Marshall was very nice to suggest the green tees for us and other tips to help us keep pace. We will be coming back.

A great round the other morning at Lakeside. The course is in great shape and is always a great place to play. Growing up we always called lakeside the swamp but it surprises me at what a great and fun course this is. I always look forward to playing here.

Had a great day. Got my first hole in one on #8. Able to see the shot hit the green and roll in the hole. When we hit the back 9 had the course to ourselves.

Great course! Don’t use yellow balls on 9th hole ( next to driving range and they are yellow and many make out on to the 9th fairway)

The course was in good shape and the greens were well kept. I just wish the kitchen would have been open.

We really appreciate the people in the pro shop. Also the people in the Cafe. We like the course, however we thought the rough was a little deeper than what we thought it should be.

Great value for what you get! Two putting/chipping greens one of which with an adjacent bunker. Driving range let’s you hit off real grass and not mats so another big bonus there. The only hole I’m not the biggest fan of is #9 as you run next to the driving range and there are a lot of range balls that end up on the fairway. But everything else makes this 5 stars for the price you pay!

Nice course in good condition for late season golf. Greens were in great shape. I will golf here again.

Beautiful, wonderfully cared for golf course. Loved seeing wildlife around, especially fish jumping and swimming.
Greens are fast, which I like personally. Definitely worth the long drive, will be going back soon.

I’ve played this course for years. This year decided to join their men’s league and have been playing their more regularly as my other local muni is still closed due to weather. The staff is going through a lot of change and are doing their best with unexpected growth. The course is in phenomenal shape and they do their best to make everyone feel welcome.

Really nice public course! Decent price as well. Everything is still nice and green, unlike many others I have golfed on lately. Back 9 is definitely more challenging than the front, but still manageable for amateurs like myself. Super friendly (and pretty) lady at the snack bar, made us an excellent burger and tots (extra crispy), super yummy. I highly recommend the jalapeño sticky burger, don’t worry it’s not very spicy at all. Will definitely return to this course soon. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon!

Nice place for HFC companies golf tournament. Still a fantastic place.
