Excellent food, definitely worth trying if you are in the area!

Every time I’m in LA I have to stop here. The owners are so sweet and you can really tell they put so much love into this bakery.

The spinach beorek and the large cheese beorek does not disappoint. 🔥

The bakery has an authentic Armenian atmosphere. Smells amazing. Great tasting boerek for very cheap price. Bring cash to avoid the credit fee lol.

I have fond memories of visiting this place as a child with my parents. Even though we moved out of LA, I make it a point to visit whenever I'm in the city. Always end up with amazing finds! Highly recommend!

Great place. I send my wife over all the time cause im too lazy. AND she always returns with 2 delicious Armenian Pizzas and a couple cheese boreks that im addicted to, (never knew Armenian food was so delicious) cause she damn right knows i wont let her back in the house if she doesnt wave those bad boys thru the window first.

The food was great quality, flavorsome and fresh! Such a variety of meats, potato, bread and cookies. The cheorek date sweets were very tasty indeed. A perfect spot for picking up takeout to eat in the park. Lovely people too. The place was also having a good ambiance and a well-organized team. All i can say is this place has a perfect food quality with a great place. perfect!

This has been a family favorite growing up as a child. Now my children are growing up enjoying all the delicious food made fresh. I drive all the way from AZ so I can enjoy the spicy cheese, lahmajun and the spinach beorek

Lovely bakery. Nice and clean, plenty of food o the counter. The pricing is reasonable. The portions not huge so get a couple of items if you are hungry. There are vegetarian dishes available. The staff are friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it if you want traditional Middle Eastern food in Hollywood

The food at Sasoun is very delicious and you can rely on a great service, even when you are in a hurry. I often stop by for the breads as they go so well with so many dishes that I cook for dinner and taste great with dips and salad for lunch. Pleased to support this great family-led business.

These guys are my neighbors and boy am I happy about that . From the minute you walk in you feel welcome and the staff always take time to have a small chat if it isn’t too busy. I mainly buy the cheese beirek from here but I have tasted all of their menu and it is truly delicious. You should try if you are in Hollywood and enjoy Armenian and Middle Eastern food.

I visited Sasoun Santa Monica with a friend today and was blown away by the quality of the food. I was skeptical when I went in as everything was cheap and I wondered how good the food would be. I need not have been worries as, although the food doesn’t look the most vibrant, it tasted amazing. I am a chili addict so I got the spicy cheese Borek which was fantastic—a little greasy as you expect from hot cheese, but so good. A great little spot that I will be sure to visit again.

The place is clean and presentable. Staff welcome you with a nice chat and talk through their dishes on the counter. My first time trying lahmajune and I liked it very much. My husband is vegetarian so he tried the potato beorek and liked it. My sons had the lahmajune with me and referred to it as meat pizza, which I guess it is in a way. A nice experience that I would try again.

My girlfriend and I visited the Santa Monica branch of Sasoun today and was very impressed by the food we picked up. We ordered a mixture of beorek, veggie and meat versions and some tahini cookies. We ordered a bit too much but we took some home and they tasted good cold too. Very tasty and we will be recommending to others.

You have to try this place if you are looking for good boreg. The spicy cheese version and the spinach version are my favorite and my wife loves the beef one and also the lamb pizzas. Very good quality and a good alternative to an empanada as they are quite similar and I know how popular empana is in LA. The nicest people in retail! So friendly and welcoming.

The OG! I have loved Sasoun for many years and now my kids love it too! We all enjoy picking up a lahmajune a weekend if we are out and about in Santa Monica. The best people and the best food and service. They always put a smile on my face. You should definitely try this place.

A tasty bakery that sells fresh Armenian food. Great serving staff. I buy a lot of food from here and I have superb service every time. The spinach beorek is my favorite and the date cookies are also a must try.

I got carry-out for lunch from here yesterday and everything was nicely packed, no leaks or greasy paper. They have great menu that is very cheap. The low prices mean you can enjoy this food for lunch no matter what time of the month it is, no waiting for payday like I have to do with some places I get lunch from.  Everything in the bakery is delicious,  the  meat pizza is my favorite as it tastes fresh and the meat is such good quality for the price. Not the healthiest of foods but very good and ok as long as you don’t eat every day. Perfect service yesterday, just as it always is.♥

I visited at the weekend wirh my hubby and my son and we are all still raving about how great their meat pizza (lahmajune) is. We ate some there and then bought another batch to take home. It is that good. All stars for these genius people!!!!

Staff is kind and the service very efficient. I called up to place an order for 30 minutes and it was ready and hot when I arrived. A good place to go to when you want to have a garden lunch or a picnic and everything goes great with salad, olives and dips. I will be back again for another order soon.
