Sycamore Grove Park

Used to live ALL OVER HIGHLAND PARK .... NOW, with the Metro connection to Azuza, and the fact that my dentist is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM MY OLDER ADDRESS, I would visit this park for exercise and to sit by the river bed bank. Visit and enjoy the ironic quiet bustle of the city environment and the flow of traffic, BOTH from N. Figueroa & the 110 fwy. Also, visit the Southwest Museum & Heritage Square which are stops off the Metro going to Azuza.

I lived here for about a year. 10/10 there's free drinking water and entertainment as well as an outdoor gym. The labyrinth underneath is great for adventurers seeking sword combat and treasure.

Peaceful and clean with working out equipment next to it. Great for both kids and grown ups

A lovely park, near the 110 freeway but feels very far away. A calm neighborhood, and a great place to meet outdoors during this Covid period. An excellent food truck is right there. Very pretty and clean. Public restrooms are available.

This is another park I grew up in. Always riding bicycles, taking walkes. Exercising by running up and down the stairs. But most likely just to rest and see the birds flying.

It was a nice small park. Tables to eat at, a bbq grill at every seating area. Really stopped by to wash my hands, but it was a nice place.

Socamore grove is the perfect place to walk and have a good time. You can make a barbecue there. Also it has a place to workout.

Nice, well planned Mexica new year celebration, lots of venders. Ladies restrooms do need A LOT of attention, missing toilet, others broken, out of the 4 toilets only 1 wS fully functional.

Perfect place to practice yoga donation base and bilingual every Saturday at 9 am

Great park with parking. Nice grass.
Lots of gophers and birds. I once saw a falcon dive, catch, and eat a rodent. It’s guts fell from the branch while the falcon was eating.
That is one of my most cherished memories. Almost as amazing as a safari in Korea where we fed lions while they were on top of our jeep.

2 playgrounds, & 1 was recently remodeled (2021) and 2 tennis courts.

I grew up knowing this park since I was about 9 or 10 nothing's changed that much but the playground has been updated to Modern Times there are a lot of barbecues with family decently no overcrowding kids playing running around chasing each other everybody having fun just like the good old days I used to live down the street from here and every time I got out of school I stopped it with a couple of friends and play in the playground until we got older and then brought our kids it's a great place check it out next time I'm there I'll send you some pictures, Charlie and Oscar the cat and the is spelled k a t t destroy everyone to know is Charlie and Oscar the k a t t

Ample space. First come, first serve basis. Kids enjoyed play ground. If you want to have party here there are no fees to set up. You can put up tents, bring your own tables, chairs no one tells you anything. Make sure you bring toilet paper and your own hand soap restrooms are awful.

Especially kicking when the carnies bring out their age old wares!

Very clean, very spacious with many trees, and I enjoy letting my dog run around, playing soccer, and working out. The South West Metro Train Station is just 10 seconds away to.
