Flintridge Bookstore

I bought a book and and a cool wallet today. It’s a cozy small bookstore. Please visit this place and support them.

My wife and I love this store for its very well curated section of children's books. Every time we come to La Canada we make a point of visiting Flintridge Bookstore.

Personally, I miss the old, larger location. The new store is very crowded, but there is a great selection of books and still a great staff.

I really love this place. There aren't too many bookstores anymore that have the same feel this one does.

I love the place, a beautiful setting with an eclectic inventory of products. A great selection of books including a local source for those books your kids need for school tomorrow. They have a lot of events to bring the community and book lovers together. Elementary school students enjoy the reading clubs they support. All this and great coffee too!

This is the most wonderful little coffee shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of space to sit and enjoy one of their drinks, a nice selection of books to browse. It opens a little late in the morning for early coffee runs. But once it is open, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a latte and pick up some new reading material.

This is the best bookstore I've been to my whole life!!! It has the best staff! I went there today and there was this lady who helped me a lot and I couldn't stop thinking about how kind and book loving she was!!! I have not only bought a book but have also been informed about many story origins and how stories have evolved and changes after years. I felt like she was the only person who understood my and my love of fairy tales. She is the best person that I have met in my life! Anyways long story short this is the best bookstore and be sure to visit :)

Have to honestly give these folks five stars.
Being an independent book store, For find their inventory to be exceptional. And to run a cafe as well is a huge plus. This is a competitive age we live in and I am happy to support the independent store that has the courage to come to market AND provide an awesome guest experience.

The Flintridge Bookstore and Coffeehouse is a lovely local establishment, family run and owned. They offer a wide variety of books, accessories, and toys for people of all ages. I was there with my choir to sing for their special Christmas event. They do community events such as that quite commonly. Most recently, they had Bill Nye at the store to promote his new book, which was pretty darn cool. All in all, a lovely place to get a coffee and work or buy a good book.

Love this book store, for the books, all kinds of nice things to buy as gifts. Found cute things for the children along with comic books, & regular books, things for folks who don't see well, my sister loves, because it looks great, & not so heavy as what she was using to see tiny print

A great place to hang out! It has that wonderful smell of books! Like the public libraries! It's super cozy and they have Wi-Fi! When you buy something from their coffeehouse, the receipt includes the Wi-Fi password. Staff is nice. They have a lot of greeting cards. They also sell a lot of extra non bookstore stuff like soaps, scarves, earrings, socks, etc.

This is the best book store ever. It still feels like walking into a 'proper' and old-fashioned book store, but with staff who are insanely knowledgable regarding the latest and greatest books, and just generally awesome. It's everything I think a bookstore 'should be' in the most perfect way. I avoid shopping on Amazon for books in order to get to go here more.

Great drip coffee! Interesting things to buy other than the usual books. Wonderful place for gift buying or just looking around. Nice ambiance.

A great bookstore run by a former JPL scientist and his family. They have a comprehensive selection of books and gifts, helpful staff and a very nice coffee shop. Plus perhaps the best parking lot in LC!

Quiet small town bookstore with a coffee shop. Elouise found something to ask me for right away in the young adult section so she was happy. I think having a print on demand section is cool. Not that I'm self publishing or anything!

A great independent bookstore with a coffee shop attached. Their children's section is great and they also have an assortment of gifts that aren't books. You never know what you might find.

Love the staff!! They always make great recommendations when I'm not sure what I want and they're always super friendly. If they don't have the book you want they will gladly order it and call you when it's ready :)
