Tried the chapin breakfast it's good and also the tamale with pork. If you order by phone to pick it up, it's better. But if you do want to eat inside the resteraunt, you will need to wait for a while.

🇬🇹 GUATEMALA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - Dining in is the move here, so sit down at one of their six four tops. Their is a video menu board above the kitchen, but the staff will probably bring you a real menu before you can decide what to eat. Taking a look at other tables, you will see big combination plates with hungry souls hunched over them, or bowls of steaming caldos, and most definitely chicken or pork tamales ($3.50).

The plato familiar is soooooo gooood you get a little bit of everything and definitely try the rellenitas 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Also the service here is super tentative, and if you need snacks etc. They gotchu! They even have the imported pollo campero ketchup on deck as well as pan dulce and some supplements 💖

I've been coming to this little restaurant since my brother invited me to eat breakfast.
I ordered the revolcado which was great. The people here are very friendly and always greet you with a smile.

Its nice. Smells really goooddd once you walk in. Good customer service.

I was here yesterday with my family the servers are so kind and great. The food tasted amazing and service was fast it was all so authentic and great tasting. The prices are amazing you can’t beat them. I’d come here several times more. I highly recommend

The must authentic Guatemalan food flavor that I have found in los Angeles, CA. Ask for the longanizas, wish are Guatemalan style sausage or the asado plate it has a combination worth to try

Delicious food friendly service coffe served as many times you want, reasonable prices a little small place but ok for small groups on top of that very fast service compare to others that take forever to serve. Se los recomiendo a todos los chapines.

I've been coming since I was little and it has never let me down, prices are a little high but no other place has Guatemalan tamales and sweet bread like this place does :)
