Gardenia Market, Deli & Pizzeria

This deli & market is a hidden gem! I drive in this area almost every day and finally stopped in for a meatball sub today. I am absolutely blown away. The sandwich is superb. The cheese and meat are so very fresh and the sauce had just the right amount of kick to it. The service is incredible and it did not take long at all. This place is a one stop shop for just about everything. They have a vast wine and craft beer selection that I will revisit when I have more time. They also offer Dippin dots ice cream and lottery tickets can be purchased here. I was also given a scratcher with good luck as a first time visitor! Wonderful people running an outstanding establishment. Highly recommended!

Long run business for over 10 years. I can’t believe it.

I’ve been here more than once and there was never a time in which I left without feeling satisfied. Truly spectacular spot… talk about a hidden gem in LA. The owner, Ray, works with his heart and soul alongside his staff to ensure the people get the quality they deserve for a decent price pizza, sandwich, lahme baajin or anything on the menu.
May I add that his Lebanese mother works there and the hummus that she makes is to die for. That’s REAL HUMMUS and pair it with his baked flavored pita chips that he makes and sells in house and you find yourself wanting more, and more, and more… and more!
I’ve had the hot dog there too and it’s truly a good hot dog, he gets beef ones so they’re tastier than your typical dogs and you can customize it to your liking.
Lastly, the PIZZA!! Oh boy if you go in there and do not try the pizza you are missing out on a treat. It’s not too greasy, not too thick, it’s just how a deli pizza should be. It’s not Italian pizza but it’s up there in the ranks.

I have been visiting this place since last 10 years. A family buisiness who are friendly and make delicious pizza and hot dog. Burgers are good but you MUST TRY their kosher style hotdog(100% beef). regardless pizza, subs, burgers, their HOTDOG is the hidden gem. probably 1 of my top 5 hot dog ever in my life!

Love this place, was a regular customer for a long while until I moved away 3 years ago and they seriously never disappoint! Was a huge fan of their pizzas and sandwiches!!! I definitely will make the trip back to this lovely shop, probably the thing I miss the most from the area since moving!!! My son and I stopped in on a road trip just for a bathroom. Didn't see a bathroom so we walked out. As we were talking in the parking lot, the owner came out and asked us if we needed a bathroom. We said yes, and he said come in, I have one you can use. I ended up buying a few drinks for the road. In the course of conversation, found out he has a whole deli and they make both American food and Lebanese food which means both my kids and I could happily eat there. Me the Lebanese option and my kids the American option. Anyhow, the owner was very welcoming and kind. He even gave us a package of bagel chips that they make in house that were VERY good! My son and I would like to stop there again! You should too!

Go see Ray, go see Ray! He is just one of the nicest people in town! They make a unique Pita chip that surpasses any other that I've ever tried. They got too many flavors to choose from. The barbecue is one of my favorites. Other Pita chips try to break your teeth! These Gardenia Pita chips are light, thin and delicious! Dip it in the fresh deli hummus. Then wash it down with a craft beer.

staff is very warm and welcoming. it was suggested that I try their award winning pepperoni pizza.... well I just did. it's just a perfect pizza, that's all. their deli, in fact the whole store has various freshly made goods... all of which have excellent flavor. great spot. grubhub services the area as well.

Great Lodge feel to this place, I love their Pastrami Sandwich & their pizzas, they have also really good Middle Eastern healthy snacks, and a magnificent wine selection, 5 years been shopping at Gardena, I'm glad a place like this is I'm my town

Awesome pepperoni pizza.
We love the fact that it's not like other pizza places, in that we don't feel heavy after eating. It's like between a thin and regular crust, and it's always fresh.

Love this place! Especially if I forget my lunch I can always depend on Gardenia Market. My usual purchase are their pizza, salads, sandwiches and of course lottery tickets. The deli never dissapointes me always so yummy and the portions are big! They also sell beer, wine, and alcohol. Stop by and support your local liquor store.

Love the owner, Raymond, and Mike, his #2. We go there for their home made pita chips (several flavors, pico de gallo and garlic are this seasons faves), fresh hummus, pick up a bottles from their wine selection and oddly enough we LOVE THEIR PIZZA! Everyone loves it. They don't deliver. If they did, we'd probably order from there twice as much but that doesn't stop us from being regulars. :)

Place is pretty neat and tidy. Their deli menu is actually pretty substantial. Pizzas, sandwiches, pastries. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive place. You can easily have a filling meal with leftovers for under $10. You can order by the phone or online. Their pita chips and hummus are a must-have.

They have the best pizza in La Crescenta, hands down! I won't order pizza anywhere else. Best taste for the best price, who can beat that! Domino's needs to step aside!

Their pizza tastes great. High quality cheese for that price! But their beer is definitely more expensive than the big grocery stores.

I stopped here on my way out of town it was the first stop off the freeway so I gave it a shot for a quick bite and they made me an amazing sandwich. The people were so incredibly friendly I will definitely be back to try to pizza if I am ever passing through.

Pizza is so good. Prices are good too. Very easy to grab a 12 pack on the way home. Employees are super friendly.

Gardinia Market is one of my favorite spots ever. Food, Cigarettes, Alcohol, Hookah, you name it. I can honestly say the Pizza here is the best that i have ever tasted in my entire life(and i travel a lot). I also like how the place is run, everyone there is so nice. its truly like a little market with great prices. I would advise anyone who lives around Gardinia or who is going on a road trip to stop on by. <3
