This is Yue (Andy) Yu. I'm a filmmaker originally from Beijing. Because of writer strike, barely I can find any studio jobs now. In order to survive in LA, I started doing Uber Eats a week ago. It's an uneasy job. Driving on the 'jungle' alike freeways, customers keep calling us for their food deliveries, and it's tricky to find free parking in busy area, especially in downtown LA. On the last day of May, I received the last order from the system and tried to deliver two orders to a customer living in a fancy apartment in the art district. I was tired and hungry at 11pm. I saw some space in front of shops and restaurants, so just quickly parked there and delivered food to the client. However, when I came back to my car, there was a $63 ticket with envelop on the window.
I don't even earn $63 by driving several hours for Uber Eats. I just feel very frustrated at that moment.
Next morning, I reached out to the parking department, explained my situation. Mr. Manny, the kind gentleman listened to my story with patience, and kindly asked me to send my citation ticket to him, see what he could do.
One day later, Mr.Manny called me back and let me send over the proof of the exact Uber Eats trip, and eventually waived the penalty for me.

LA is a very hard town. But there are also plenty of kind souls here. No matter how badly life treats you, don't let it beat you down. Make all the possible efforts and learn your lessons. God will bless you and all the kind people with good hearts.

Received a citation. After reading some other reviews online the rep did a good job explaining how the process and payment needed works

This is a fraud, definitely a scam. I don't give reviews but after reading some others, I feel I needed to share feedback. I usually park at the Dynasty building in Chinatown, paid the fee at the pay station and went up to pick up an order which did not take not even 30 mins. I came back to my car and there was a parking ticket for $63 inside an envelope. The mailing envelope has instructions to correct it but nothing that shows how to file a dispute except to when you scan the QR code. It gives an option to upload an image of the paid ticket as a proof if making a dispute. I did all that and provided my email address. Today I received a response about the dispute that was not accepted because the paid ticket was not placed in the car's dashboard. I called the phone number on the email, after explaining the situation and arguing, she offered to reduce the ticket to $43. I insisted that I had paid for the fee, I provided to them a copy, so give me a valid reason why should I pay? She did reply to me saying, "that's fine - then your car will be on the tow list and once spotted in any of the parking lots they managed, it will automatically be towed away". Is this legal? Can they really tow a car without a violation? Who should we report this scam? I really think this is ridiculous!

Avoid this company , this is a scam .
I paid for the a parking ticket and unfortunately my sun cover went down a little and didn’t let the ticket to be seen . I contact customer service and opened a dispute I showed the prof of everything and they said the dispute was not accepted and I have to pay 👎🏻 so disappointed

Parked my car. Bought a 2.5 hour ticket, then returned to act end my time. Saw an attendant writing citations and inquired about how to extend my time. They advised that I need only to pay the difference of all day parking, which was 8 dollars. Purchased $8 worth of time, and returned to find a citation. Wrote a dispute explaining my situation. Had I known the right information: I would have either not parked at the establishment or properly extended my time with additional purchases. Company disregard my dispute. Called the number provided by email: apparently spoke to the manager who could not do anything g but tell me that they could amend the citation. Was told that the disputes are reviewed by the owner of the company. Best the manager could do is reduce citation down to $43.

This company is a scam. They willfully and intentionally told me and friend the wrong information so we can get fined. Stay away from their parking lots.

8/27/23- The timer in my phone went off that it was time to get the car at the Crazy Gideon's location in the Arts District in Los Angeles. It took me three minutes to get to my car. The parking expired at 3:46, I'm getting in my car at 3:49 (as the citation states) and the PerfectParking guy who reeked of weed without saying anything hands me the parking ticket. Three minutes and I have to pay $80, not to mention the dude just got in his car and left while high. Really professional.
