Always be open minded to new things or in this case old classics. Simple Cafe de Olla and a Go bananas crepe make the best snack for a tired mind and body in search of extra vitality for the extra shift at work.
Cafe de Olla served perfectly in a clay cup. The aroma is strong but the taste does not disappoint. Every note and hint of cinnamon is a rather wonderful delight coming as you take in your first sip and notice the complex taste of harmony between cinnamon and coffee, not too sweet, not too bitter. Just perfect.
The Crepe called Go Bananas, borrows from many flavors to deliver a very sweet dessert were it not accompanied with the coffee it would have been overwhelming by the fourth bite. This the importance of pairing the right food with the right drink.
Very clean and nice little coffee shop. I believe the owner was serving that night, he was very helpful explaining with detail the differences in the menu and was also very accommodating since it was almost closing time.

I saw and read the reviews before I went. I was not disappointed. The strawberry cream crepe was delicious. The tres Leche latte was perfect; not too sweet. Next time I'm in Maywood, I'm returning to El Cafecito.

The store is more than just a place to get coffee. It serves tasty pastries and coffee. The place is first class, as are the service and the food. The prices are also fair. Aside from a meal that is already filling, they also offer a selection of great drinks. The environment is cheery and ideal for getting work done. highly advisable

I do not believe I am their target customer, but I like that they exist. I like that they are there for their target customer. Judgement of whether or not the execution of an idea or concept was successful is subjective. I think most people would like what they do. Their customer service was also on point.

Really good, think she just opened so we were glad to help out. Also had some really cute Christmas cookies.

This is a great little spot with some amazing Cafe de Olla! I ordered a sandwich and it was delicious! They are local family owned. Check them out!

Some people exaggerate and are way too picky. There is nothing wrong with the cafe de olla. I loved it.
