They have a good selection. The staff helped me out without a problem. I liked the layout of the store everything wasn't over the counter. You can actually look at the items you want to buy. Great place. Best I've been in Southbay.

Friendly staffs and great services. I didn't know anything about bikes, but they were very patient with me explaining every question I have in detail.
Highly recommend this place.

Best bike shop in town. They have bikes out that are not supposed to be released for another month or two. Good prices

There is no other place around Torrance that have both repair services and sales that are top-notch. Great service, great people :).

Solid Mechanics and staff were friendly except one employee. I don't know his name but the taller Asian gentleman (possible owner?) always seems to have a scowl on his face and a dismissive demeanor like the other staff members there. It could just be his body language but definitely noticed the same thing every time I have visited. I've gone to the store at least 6 times and gotten the same thing.
Prices for components were comparable/higher than big chain stores but I always try to visit LBS rather than Performance or Trek. I haven't had many major repairs or adjustment so I can't speak on labor costs but the minor things I've had have been fairly cheap.

What a terrible shopping experience! DO NOT SHOP at Bikeology in Torrance. Be warned that they have a no-return policy. On everything. Who does that nowadays? When I purchased the items, the staff was friendly enough. But, when I tried to return the item unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as I bought it, their true colors showed. The vehemence that they displayed made clear, that once they have your money, Customer Service ends. I wish they informed me about their no return policy when I bought the items. "It's printed on your receipt" was their out. There are several good bike shops in the South Bay besides these guys, and the other guys have cleaner stores, more inventory, and better service.. You're much better off going to them.

I used to be a good customer of this store. I've bought two Treks, two Giants and was about to purchase another Giant.
But, this time... they offered me a deal on a Giant TCR Advanced 2 if I have paid cash. But, I was rushed to purchase it at that very same day because they clearly said me I wouldn't get the deal the next day. That was the same as saying "please leave our store" for me. Can't accept that.
The only good thing at that store now is the mechanic - Dave. That guy is awesome. Every time I needed something, he was excellent - problems don't happen twice when he works on your bike.
Rather than that, the components are expensive, the sellers are rude... I bought the other bikes with a brazilian seller that was excellent, but he no longer works there.
I sympathize with this fellow of the review below. That's exactly what seems to matter for them: "give us your money; if you come back, ok, but the important is that we were paid, now".
Now, I got a Specialized Tarmac and they lost a good customer. I consider returning there for service on the other Giant I still keep, but not for buying new bikes. A pity, their bikes are awesome (Giant, Trek, Haro, Dahon, etc), but they need to recover quality in customer care.

I should've seen these reviews before I went in earlier today. I saw my trek allant priced for sale and I wanted to buy it right away. My old one was stolen just about 3 months ago. I kinda shifted around a bit and waited for the 2 guys working to notice me while finishing their conversation. On and on until I decided to leave. I was really looking to put down less than 400 for a commuter anyway. The thought of getting back my treasured bike was nice but I can go for a decent hybrid im currently on the search for. Bad customer service experience. Take reviews seriously

I have had poor service here in the past, and I still reluctantly stopped there today to try and get some parts. Bad service once again. I can't tell of it's the same owners as last time though. Too many workers in there hovering over you, and you can't browse for items. . The main thing that pisses me off is they're NOT family friendly. The two times I've taken my kids in there to try and purchase a bike, they jump on us about "don't sit in the bikes." WTH? How are we supposed to size them up? I blame myself for today; I knew better, and went anyways. It's a shame. It used to be a decent place. I don't recommend this place.

Bad experience in service dept. Took a bike in to have the the an inner tube replaced. When I picked it up they had over-inflated the tires by 20 PSI. My tire blew up on he way our the door. Now they charged me extra to replace the tire,

these guys have the worst mechanics they honestly need someone with experience went into to get my bmx wheel fixed and then couldnt do much because they didnt have the right parts so i understood a week later i went in with the correct part i had bought online myself which was a 9t driver bearing and asked if they could install it for me and it was good to go then 3 days later they call me saying they cant fix it because i need to buy a new driver and gave me back my wheel taken apart so i went home and started looking at the wheel and started hammering at the broken bearing ring and it just popped out to my surprise after i put in the bearing i bought and i was good to go no hassle and saved me my ten buck honestly never take your bikes for repairs they know nothing on bikes
