Honestly I come here for the deli! I loveeee their Italian sandwiches/paninis. The owner is so sweet and it’s made fresh on the spot. If you’re looking for alcohol, this is THE spot on the block. Plenty of street parking and close parking to the beach!

I visited this market, and I was truly impressed by its excellence in every aspect. The service I received was simply magnificent; the staff was always eager to assist and provide recommendations. Moreover, the variety of products and items they had for sale was astonishing. From fresh foods to unique products, this market has it all. It's definitely a comprehensive experience that I would recommend to everyone. I can't wait to go back!

This place is great real good prices on wine and spirits. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

I go here all the time as it is in walking distance from my place. The staff is friendly, deli is fresh, great selection of liquor, beer, wine, and other essentials. A plus is they have a great selection of ice cream and fresh fruit/veggies. Everything is expensive in this area but Alan’s is the best price on all alcohol compared to all the nearby liquor/beer stores. In some cases it’s a $5+ difference!

Great local market with an insane selection of goods. They have great wines, lots of food, a delicious deli cafe with coffee, juice, sandwiches and a decent selection of produce that has saved us a few times from having to make a trip to the grocery store. They even carry locally made products like Bloody Gerry Premium Bloody Mary Mix from Venice. We are lucky to have this local market in walking distance.

This is the best market in the area. We stayed in the hotel next door, and loved coming by here for everything! We got alcohol, scissors, stationary/office supplies, and even subs from their in store cafe/sub place.

The owners are super nice! We were only there for four days but by the end we built up a good rapport. One day we bought wine and forgot a bottle opener and they opened it for us, and we went back to enjoy it at our hotel!

I love this place. It's a little pricey, but in my opinion, that's normal for an independent bottega. They have an awesome selection of high-end wine, liquor and champagne for last-minute pickups, essentials for the kitchen and pretty much every random little thing you could need on impulse. The staff is very friendly, and the café is great (when it's open).

Nice big chain store. Large selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. Lots of quality products. You can drink delicious coffee or tea with delicious freshly baked buns in the cafe.

Such a great local market! Large selection of drinks, snacks, wine, and beer! There's also a really nice deli in the back and the workers are really helpful and kind! I highly recommend stopping in this market to go to the beach or walk on the Venice canals!

The best corner store you could ask for. Great wine selection, fair prices. And the deli was very fresh, meaty sandwiches. Only complaints would be parking but if its quick just flip on the hazards n riskit. Also, not all products have pricing. Super selection for such a small shop !

Steve makes yummy hot drinks and fresh juices too!! Also, the sandwiches are delicious, whether ordered from the menu or having a custom one made. All with fresh ingredients too!!

Delicious deli sandwiches! The bread is divine! The deli meats and cheeses are flavorful and garnished just right with crisp lettuce and fresh produce. My husband and I have eaten The Italian, the Black Forest Ham and Cheese, and the Turkey sandwich - all cold sandwiches. They have all been super great with generous portions! We got sandwiches to share with our guests on a sailing outing and everyone devoured them. The sides of potato salad, macaroni salad and fruit cup are tasty and perfect complements. I have also gotten the containers of fresh fruit - the best pre-sliced, easy-to-eat mango for sure.
I also love the lattes and my husband is a fan of the espresso.
To top it all off, the service is friendly and fast.
We live in the neighborhood and shop at Alan's Market all the time and were thrilled when the Deli & Cafe opened. I highly recommend the coffee and food here - it is MOST AWESOME.

They had the last bottle of blanton's bourbon, a bit overpriced, but you can't really find this whiskey around..

They have everything you need for cocktails and produce for garnishment.
