SGV Management

I chose SGV Management because of their professionalism and look of their buildings. This is the first time I've rented from them and so far everything has gone well. They are responsive, professional and the property that I can speak of is clean and well maintained. The best management company in my opinion, to date. My partner and I have just rented our second apartment from SGV Management (she had a Pasadena studio for two years, and we now share a Pasadena 2-bedroom), and we highly recommend them. Their management is exceptional: their units are clean and well-maintained; their landscapes are beautiful and consistently well-kept; and their tenant portal makes it easy to pay rent, communicate, and report maintenance issues (to which they always respond quickly).

We are grateful to have found SGV Management--a group of experts that are truly committed to their properties and their tenants. We've let them know that as long as we reside in Southern California, we've chosen them to be our property managers.

I don't know what sparked all these negative reviews. SGV has always been thoughtful and the most responsive management I've experienced as a renter. I've lived in my residence 2 years and they've been quick about repairs and willing to work with me on particular requests like swapping a light fixture and letting me turn an unused outdoor space into a container garden.
The one time they refinished a neighboring apartment's floor and unintentionally fumed me out of my home they were very apologetic and give me advance notice now if they're doing any high vov work in the building.

I have lived at a SGV Management property for about a year and a half and had nothing but positive experiences with their staff. They are quick to fix any issues in the unit and always are quick to communicate when I contact them. I would highly recommend living in one of their properties.

Renting with this company has been a great experience so far. They are friendly and professional and the properties have old school charm but are definitely well kept up and clean. So far so good!

Honest caring management

Noise compliants do not get resloved and problems do not get fixed. Loud neighbors continue and piping that goes thru bedroom wall is loud when washer is used by tenants. But they say no its not true. I attached a video which was recorded when someone started doing laundry at 7 AM on a saturday. As soon as my lease ends im leaving. The walls are thin so you hear every door slam... cabinent close... Stay away from this managemnet company their fix to noise from neighbors.... BUY A WHITE NOISE MACHINE.. really?

I never wrote a bad review on anything before, but this prop. management has caused me so much a lot of suffering that I can't be silent.
My apartment has noise and smell issues. In particular the noise insulation is very poor, I hear the neighbors below me all the time.
I asked the management several times to do something about it, but they dismissed me: they sent me to buy special headphones, rugs and told me that I don't have enough furniture to block the noise...As if the poor noise insulation is my fault. They didn't let me leave without a draconic penalty.
For your well-being, stay away

Couldn't live in my apartment without constant complaints from neighbours due to paper thin walls (even from the ground floor). I worked almost 100 hour weeks and I was only home to sleep. Asked management what I can do to try to resolve this, but they didn't answer.

Upon moving out they charged me for painting, which is standard wear and tear for the period I stayed, but they could not provide me with any picture evidence that warranted the charge. They also painted my windows shut throughout my tenancy.
