Charles Evans Hughes Middle School

Great school. I was going to this school in 1983 and they we're filming The Karate Kid. We couldn't have recess for 3 days so they could film. We saw Ralph Macchio kicking around a soccer ball, ha. Great memories of that school.

This school has the most amazing Green Team, headed by an incredible and dedicated volunteer leader. Year after year it has produced wonderful stewards of the environment. Keep up the great work!

Great location! Next door to Longfellow Elementary. Very convenient since I have kids in both schools. So far, no complaints. My kid is very Happy at Hughes!:)

I (graduating class of 2013) served 3 years at Hughes and must say that it is an overall good school. The students ,however, showed a lot of PDA which the principal and staff should look out for more often. A great majority of the teachers are good at getting through to and connecting with their students (especially Mr.Colunga , Mr. Krstich and Mr.Simerlink). Many opportunities are presented through clubs,honor or advanced classes, zero periods, and tutoring programs. The green team is one of the best in the state and work diligently on campus, only to add a good environment to a good school.

A great school it help save my life as a young kid in 1969. Life is beautiful. Now I can walk to schools the American dream that how close we live. Wow

I love my School!its awesome and great we now have this bin sorting where we sort:scraps trash cartons liquids redemables share and at the end of the day it all goes to salvation army (only the share part) so i recomend the School because theres many honors classes the teachers are nice and they all help eachother defenetly recomend! Go HUGHES OWLS hoot hoot :)

Magnifiecent is the only word that describes the school the students are intelligent and respectful
